Princess Kate flawlessly performed a curtsy towards King Charles III and Queen Camilla during the traditional Garter Day procession. The 41-year-old Princess of Wales observed as the 74-year-old king and 75-year-old queen marched past in the Order of the Garter procession at Windsor Castle on Monday, June 19. Charles and Camilla, who were recently crowned at their coronation ceremony, adorned themselves in regal attire for the occasion, wearing blue mantles (robes) and hats adorned with ostrich feathers.

As the royal couple walked by, Kate gracefully positioned one foot behind the other and slightly bent her knees, maintaining her poise as she demonstrated an impeccable curtsy. For the event, the Duchess of Cambridge donned an elegant black and white polka dot Alessandra Rich dress with a high neckline. Complementing her attire, she adorned herself with a matching Philip Treacy hat, a white clutch, pearl drop earrings, and stylish black and white high-heeled shoes.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended the Garter Day ceremony at St George's Chapel in London. She stood alongside Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, as they watched the parade. Sophie looked stunning in a pink floral dress paired with a matching shawl and a white and pink hat. Later on, Prince William and Prince Edward joined Kate and Sophie for the procession.

Kate and William, along with their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - joined the royals in celebrating Charles' inaugural birthday procession on Saturday. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not in attendance for the occasion.

Royal expert Gareth Russell previously predicted that the couple, who relinquished their senior royal roles last year, would not be in attendance at the celebration. In an exclusive interview with We, the author of Do Let's Have Another Drink! stated that he did not believe they needed to be invited, not as a means of disrespect towards them, but rather due to the significant distance they would have to travel from California for the event. According to Russell, it was unlikely that the Sussexes would have received an invitation to Trooping the Colour from the outset.

Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, made a rare appearance in the U.K. for Queen Elizabeth II's final Trooping the Colour in June 2022, coinciding with the late monarch's Platinum Jubilee. Following their move to the United States in 2020, the couple has only visited their home country a few times. Recently, Prince Harry attended his father's coronation ceremony while Meghan stayed in California with their children, 4-year-old Archie and 2-year-old Lilibet. Additionally, Harry traveled back to the U.K. a few weeks later to testify in his ongoing phone hacking trial against Mirror Group Newspapers.

The CIO of BetterUp, who has distanced himself from his royal duties, has repeatedly criticized The Firm and the U.K. media. In his memoir titled "Spare," released in January, he made various claims, including one where Harry alleges that William started a physical altercation with him after referring to Meghan as "difficult" and "rude."

Despite expressing his grievances with the royal family, the co-founder of Archewell has openly expressed his wish for reconciliation. During an interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes in January, he emphasized that the responsibility for initiating reconciliation lies in the hands of the royal family.
