"[Wimbledon] is a source of inspiration for young people, including myself. Whenever Wimbledon is happening, I always think, 'Yes, I can do the same' and grab my racket," she previously admitted about the tournament in the June 2017 documentary Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon. Princess Kate’s Lime Green Wimbledon Outfit Perfectly Matches the Tennis Balls

Princess Kate is back at Wimbledon with a subtle sartorial nod to the tennis game itself.

The Princess of Wales, aged 41, looked breathtaking on Saturday, July 15, as she donned an elegant yellow-green outfit by Self Portrait. She paired a stylish tweed jacket with a flowing skirt in the same shade, which coincidentally matched a tennis ball perfectly. To complete her ensemble, Kate accessorized with pearl earrings and carried a beige handbag.

In her role as the royal patron of the tennis championship, Kate attended the final match of the women's singles event at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The match saw Markéta Vondroušová emerge as the victorious competitor over Ons Jabeur.

Kate used to go to Wimbledon matches on July 4, where she sat in the Royal Box alongside tennis legend Roger Federer. During those visits, Kate would wear a mint-colored blazer, showcasing her love for the sport. In a June 2017 BBC One documentary called "Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon," Kate shared how Wimbledon inspires her and makes her believe that she too could excel in tennis. However, she humbly acknowledges that her results may not be the same as the professional players.
