Princess Kate Middleton turned heads on Tuesday, November 21 in a stunning red coat as she joined her husband, Prince William, in welcoming the President of South Korea and his wife to kick off their two-day tour in the U.K.
The Princess of Wales donned a vibrant red Catherine Walker coat dress adorned with a joyful front bow detail. She paired the eye-catching ensemble with red suede Gianvito Rossi pumps, a Miu Miu red suede shoulder bag that she stylishly converted into a clutch, and a striking red wide-brimmed hat.
Kate Middleton paid homage to Princess Diana with her choice of jewelry, donning her late mother-in-law’s sapphire drop earrings and her iconic sapphire diamond engagement ring.
She wore her hair in an elegant low chignon and opted for dark brown eyeshadow, eyeliner, bold eyelashes and subtle pink lipstick.

In the photo, 41-year-old William was dressed in a simple yet stylish outfit, featuring a mid-length navy coat, a navy suit, a red tie, and black dress shoes.
The royal family is intentional in their wardrobe choices, including Kate's statement red coat, blue jewelry, William's blue suit, and red tie, symbolizing the colors of the South Korean flag.
For years, Kate has used her clothing to honor foreign countries, such as wearing a blue lace skirt suit in Belize, pairing a red blazer with a white shirt in Denmark, and sporting an emerald green dress in Ireland.

Kate and William encountered the presidential couple for the first time at their London hotel on this special occasion. The four of them, along with King Charles and Queen Camilla, then participated in a formal welcoming ceremony that involved two ceremonial gun salutes and the playing of the national anthem of South Korea. Following this, the President and First Lady joined the King, Queen, Kate, and William for a carriage procession to Buckingham Palace.
