Princess Kate Middleton recently shared her first public message since undergoing surgery, expressing her gratitude for the love and support she has received from other royal family members.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, March 10, the 41-year-old princess thanked everyone for their kind wishes and continued support over the past two months. She also shared a heartwarming photo with her three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi left a heart emoji in a comment on Instagram.

Mapelli Mozzi, who is 40 years old, became a part of the royal family in 2020 when he married Princess Beatrice. She is a cousin of Kate's husband, Prince William. (Princess Beatrice and Prince William are cousins because their fathers, Prince Andrew and King Charles III, are brothers. They are the two eldest sons of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.)

William, 41, shares a close bond with all of his cousins, including Beatrice, 35.

Elizabeth and Philip, who passed away in 2022 and 2021, had four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Prince Edward. Charles is 75 years old, Anne is 73, Andrew is 63, and they all have children of their own.

Kate became part of the royal family in 2011 when she wed William. In September 2022, Charles became the new monarch, making William and Kate the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Kate decided to take a break from her public responsibilities earlier this year due to a planned abdominal surgery. According to Kensington Palace, the surgery went well, and Kate is expected to stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before going home to recover.
