Princess Beatrice shared an update on her mother Sarah Ferguson's health in a recent TV interview. Beatrice, who is 35 years old, was a guest on the May 6 episode of the U.K.'s This Morning. She was there to talk about the charity Outward Bound and also mentioned her mother's recovery from cancer.
Beatrice praised Ferguson as a phenomenal icon and an amazing mom. Despite facing challenges, her sense of purpose and resilience inspire Beatrice. She happily shared that Ferguson is now "all in the clear" and thriving at 64. Beatrice believes that Ferguson is truly coming into her own after all she has been through.
In January, it was revealed that the Duchess of York was diagnosed with skin cancer after having a mastectomy earlier. She had previously battled early-stage breast cancer in June 2023 and had announced later that she had overcome it.
According to a representative for Ferguson, her dermatologist recommended removing and analyzing several moles while she was undergoing reconstructive surgery after her mastectomy. Unfortunately, one of the moles was found to be cancerous. Despite the distress of another cancer diagnosis so soon after her breast cancer treatment, the Duchess is staying positive and in good spirits.

Ferguson recently shared a heartfelt message on World Health Day, emphasizing the importance of both mental and physical well-being. Via Instagram on April 7, she encouraged her followers to take a moment to check in with themselves.
The duchess urged everyone to prioritize their health by attending routine check-ups, going for walks, and engaging in activities that bring them joy. She emphasized the importance of showing love and care to both the body and mind.
Ferguson’s recovery comes at a time when two other members of the royal family have also been diagnosed with cancer. In February, news emerged that King Charles III was undergoing treatment for a type of cancer that was discovered after a prostate procedure. In March, Princess Kate Middleton shared that she too had received a cancer diagnosis.
After Kate revealed her own health news, Ferguson took to Instagram to send her well wishes. She expressed her admiration for Kate's decision to speak openly about her diagnosis, recognizing the importance of raising awareness. Ferguson also hoped that Kate would now be able to focus on her healing process in peace and privacy.
