Pregnant 'Teen Mom 2' Star Kailyn Lowry Announces Gender of Twins with Boyfriend Elijah Scott

Teen Mom 2 alum Kailyn Lowry’s brood of boys just keeps growing.
"They're boys!" exclaimed Lowry, 31, in an Instagram video on Monday, November 6, announcing the gender of her expected twins with her boyfriend, Elijah Scott. In the video, Lowry seemed to discover the babies' gender reveal while talking to Scott on the phone.
"Hey, I just received the email," she informed him at the start of the video. It seemed that Scott received this news at a somewhat inconvenient time, as he was either watching or attending a sports event.
"When will the game be over?" Lowry asked her partner. "In an hour? No, no. I need to open it immediately." Despite some hesitation, Lowry burst into joyful laughter upon discovering that she will be having twin baby boys. "Love you, goodbye," she said to Scott before ending the call.
Numerous fans expressed their surprised reactions to the news in the comments of the post. "Officially the 'boy maker' lol, congratulations! ❤️️️️" one user wrote, while another jokingly commented, "Kail, now you have to stop because they're coming out two at a time. Congratulations!!" Lindsie Chrisley also playfully teased Lowry's streak of having boys by saying, "I'm not feeling well."
Earlier this year, Lowry confirmed the birth of her first child with Scott, son Rio, in 2022. Additionally, the former MTV personality has a 13-year-old son named Isaac with ex Jo Rivera, a 9-year-old son named Lincoln with ex Javi Marroquin, and two sons named Lux (6) and Creed (3) with ex Chris Lopez.
Lowry hinted at more details about her twins, stating, "In typical Kail + the Chaos fashion, we have to break this into a 3-part mini-series. You'll fully understand after part 3. Wish me luck."
Last month, Lowry made a revelation that she is currently pregnant with her sixth and seventh babies in a podcast interview with TikTok star Allison Kuch, who is also expecting her first child with husband Isaac Rochell. During their conversation about their recent trips to Thailand, Lowry mentioned, "I suppose we both returned home with permanent souvenirs."
Kailyn then speculated that she had gotten pregnant before her trip with Scott. She shared, "When I arrived there, I was indulging in everything. My face was red, but I didn't think much of it because I thought, 'There's no way. There's no way I am pregnant.'"
Besides soliciting baby name recommendations from fans on Instagram, Lowry shared on TikTok why she had a suspicion that she might be expecting twin girls. In a video posted on November 1, she recounted a conversation she had at a new nail salon. "I was just chatting with the girl sitting next to me and the nail technician," she explained, "and the nail technician mentioned that she has twin girls." Lowry considered this coincidence as a possible indication that her own babies could be girls. She mentioned that she had scheduled a blood test that same day to determine the sexes of her babies, with the results expected to be emailed to her the following day.
