Hartford, the 2-year-old daughter of Beau Clark and Stassi Schroeder, has been admitted to the hospital due to respiratory distress.
Clark, 43, shared on his Instagram Story on Monday, July 3, that it had been a trying morning. Accompanying his message was a photo of his toddler lying in a hospital bed with the pregnant Vanderpump Rules alum, 35, covered in a cozy blanket. The snapshot only revealed their legs. Continuing his explanation in a separate Instagram Story, Clark detailed how their daughter, Hartford, had experienced rapid and intense breathing the night before, likening it to the transformation seen in zombie movies.
Clark expressed increasing concern for his young child as he took her to the ER at approximately 6 AM. He explained that the toddler was experiencing breathing difficulties, potentially indicating high asthma, as her lungs were congested with an excessive amount of mucus and her fever was elevated.
He shared that she is currently using a second respiratory device designed to expand her lungs further, while anxiously waiting and hoping for improved results this time. He promised to provide an update once there is more information, acknowledging how distressing it is to witness his child in such a condition.
Schroeder and Clark, who got married in 2020 and 2022, celebrated the arrival of their child, Hartford, in January 2021. The ex-Bravo star is currently expecting their second child and expressed her excitement via an Instagram post in March, where she stated, "I feel anxious when keeping secrets, and I couldn't be more thrilled about Baby #2. I already adore you."
In a March episode of their podcast "The Good The Bad The Baby," Schroeder and Clark announced that they are expecting a baby boy. They excitedly shared the news with their daughter, reassuring her that she wouldn't have any competition and that she would soon have a little brother to play with.
In March, Schroeder shared her aspiration of having a large family with her husband as they prepare for the arrival of their second child. While she envisions having many children, Schroeder wants to ensure she has the capacity to support a larger brood. She expressed her desire to devote ample attention and provide as much as possible to each of her children. Currently, she believes that two children are the ideal number for her, but she remains open to the possibility of expanding their family in the future.
