How Stassi Schroeder Spent a Fortune to Make Outfit of the Day a National Holiday

Stassi Schroeder, former star of Vanderpump Rules, revealed that she spent $40,000 to create her own Outfit of the Day national holiday back in 2018

Stassi Schroeder admitted to spending a whopping $40,000 on a national "Outfit of the Day" holiday. During an episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Wednesday, June 14th, the 34-year-old former Vanderpump Rules star expressed regret over the costly purchase, calling it a "waste of money" and "cringe-worthy."

Schroeder came up with the idea to create a holiday based on her popular #OOTD posts on social media in 2018. Her daily routine involved showcasing her outfit and encouraging her followers to do the same. To secure the date for the holiday, which was June 30, she had to purchase it because owning holidays does not come for free. However, Schroeder admitted that it cost her $40,000 and she wouldn't do it again as it was a waste of money.

Schroeder thought that the purchase was a smart move for her career when she made it. She was in a business mindset and had her book coming out soon. She believed that buying the product would help with her branding and ultimately benefit her career.

After purchasing the holiday, the author of Next Level Basic was surprised to learn that ownership would expire after only one year and that she would have to pay the same amount again to keep it. She was outraged by the idea of having to make this payment annually and ultimately decided not to continue with the ownership. As a result, her name is no longer listed as an owner.

Schroeder has since expressed her regret over the ill-fated business decision, acknowledging that she was willing to face the consequences for her actions. She also expressed admiration for those who had the foresight to establish a national holiday. Although her vision for her own holiday did not come to fruition, Schroeder has thrived in her personal life. She and her husband, Beau Clark, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child, adding to their family that already includes their 2-year-old daughter, Hartford.

The ex-reality TV personality proudly bared it all for her maternity shoot on June 12, aiming to manifest a healthy and happy bond with her soon-to-be-born son. She shared a breathtaking series of photos on Instagram and captioned them with the same intention.
