Stassi Schroeder recently provided an update on her strained relationship with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. Despite missing them occasionally, the 34-year-old admitted that they had hurt her deeply, causing her to lose trust in them. While she claimed to have moved on from the situation, she emphasized that it didn't necessarily mean she would reconcile and become close friends with them again.
Stassi Schroeder, the author of The Next Level Basic and newlywed to Beau Clark since May 2022, expressed her dissatisfaction with the comments made by Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright about missing her wedding. Schroeder explained to podcast host Jackie Oshry that she was particularly hurt by Jax's statement that they had already attended her first wedding. She clarified that their first ceremony was not a wedding but rather a simple signing of papers in Katie Maloney's backyard during her baby shower in October 2020, with fewer than 10 people present. Schroeder and Clark, who have a 2-year-old daughter named Hartford and are expecting their second child, found Jax and Brittany's remarks hurtful.
Schroeder was the first to allude to a rift with her former Vanderpump Rules cast members shortly after her wedding.
"On the surface, they assure us that they will be attending, but behind our backs, the guy is messaging Beau's closest friend, claiming they won't be there," the former Bravo star, who previously dated Taylor in the show's first season, expressed on her podcast "The Good the Bad The Baby" in May 2022. "True friends don't behave like that. They don't gossip about your wedding in secret or feign attendance while giving a laundry list of excuses to others. Friends simply don't treat each other that way."
She continued: “Two weeks before the wedding, right before I left for the book tour, I insisted on addressing this issue with them because I refuse to participate in this game. I made sure to order all the necessary items for seat assignments and place cards. That task is now completed. Therefore, I need to know if I should quickly inquire about rearranging things. This is not a simple matter of removing two people.”

Cartwright, 34, for her part, attempted to offer her side of the story.
Schroeder expressed her frustration during the podcast episode, emphasizing that the lack of communication was the main source of her upset.
"I offered them the chance to withdraw, but they chose not to. Then, just as I was about to board the plane, I received a text message from Brittany. That text felt incredibly hurtful," she concluded. "I believe that was a significant factor in intensifying the pain. I had to exclude certain family members and many other individuals who I would have cherished having by my side. Consequently, they occupied two spots."
