Peter Weber shared on “The Ringer Reality TV Podcast” why he believes he and his ex-girlfriend Kelley Flanagan immediately connected. According to Weber, they both acknowledged that they were “trauma bonded.” He admitted that they fell in love after a few months of dating and had a beautiful relationship until it came to an end.
Before filming season 24 of The Bachelor, Weber and Flanagan briefly met. They reconnected on night one of the show, but their relationship faced challenges when producers allegedly tried to keep them apart.
During an April 2020 podcast interview, Flanagan revealed that in the first couple of weeks, she noticed Weber acting differently towards her. She sensed that producers may have influenced his behavior. Despite nothing happening between them during their one-on-one time, Weber seemed upset, leaving Flanagan puzzled. This made her realize that something fishy was going on behind the scenes, leading her to feel frustrated and deceived.
During week 7 of the season, Weber sent Flanagan home and later proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss in the finale. However, he ended his engagement with Sluss and found that he and runner-up Madi Prewett were not compatible for a lasting relationship.
Following the breakups, Weber reconnected with Flanagan. In April 2020, it was revealed that the two were officially dating.

According to a source from Us, Peter and Kelley are in a serious relationship, but they are keeping it private. Kelley has been more cautious since their incident on the Riverwalk in Chicago, choosing to stay at home to avoid online criticism.
The couple made their relationship public on Instagram in May 2020. However, less than a year later, Peter announced their breakup. Kelley revealed in March 2021 that they briefly reconciled and had a Valentine's Day date, but ultimately decided to end things for good in February.
In August 2022, there were rumors that the couple had gotten back together after being seen in Chicago. It was confirmed in September 2022 that Weber and Flanagan were officially back together.
According to an insider, Peter realized he wanted a serious relationship and his feelings for Kelley never faded. Both of them are happy and excited to see where their relationship goes this time.
Weber announced his breakup with Flanagan in May 2023. He had hinted about his relationship status the month before at a beauty convention. While joking about getting his legs hair-free for his future wife, he mentioned that he still needed to find her.
