While Luffy tinkers with his DOM shoes, he accidentally activates them, propelling him towards the screen. The smoke trail left by Luffy provides a seamless transition to the next sequence, showcasing multiple shots from the beginning of the Egghead Arc.
The Vegapunks
The scenes feature the massive mecha Vegaforce-01 transporting the Thousand Sunny, while Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney indulge in food prepared by the Automatic Cooking Machine. Meanwhile, Franky, Nico Robin, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp are shown delighting in the cloud-like forest of Egghead. Ultimately, Luffy encounters the Iron Giant.

The following scene introduces Vegapunk’s six satellite bodies: Shaka, Lilith, Edison, Pythagoras, Atlas, and York, each showcased one after another, reminiscent of the typical selection screen in a videogame.

Luffy and Zoro's brotherhood
The scene shifts, and we catch a glimpse of Kaku, Rob Lucci, and Stussy. Just as quickly as she appeared, Vegapunk Stella vanishes from the screen, leaving behind the ominous masks of the three CP0 elite agents. This sequence subtly suggests the CPO's dangerous mission to eliminate Vegapunk.

As Luffy carries on with his adventure alongside Chopper, he flexes his muscles, initiating a completely different series of events. The camera focuses on the moment when Luffy and Zoro are seen sitting on a sofa, keeping watch over the captured Lucci and Kaku.
Tired and seemingly almost exhausted, Luffy takes a moment to rest, while Zoro observes him with a serious expression. Positioned behind the couch where the two Straw Hats are seated, there is a large monitor that suddenly transforms into a hologram.

Upon closer inspection, the background reveals the unmistakable symbols of Bartholomew Kuma, alongside the ominous presence of the Celestial Dragons and the foreboding silhouette of Saint Jaygarcia Saturn.

Continuing, there is a scene featuring Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin. These three members of the Heart Pirates, transformed into women by Doc Q's Devil Fruit, are seen attempting to flee from the Polar Tang, their submarine, as it fills with water following an attack by the Blackbeard Pirates.
The SWORD officers

The scene changes once more, revealing Prince Grus, Helmeppo, Kujaku, and Hibari in the midst of the clash between SWORD officers and the Blackbeard Pirates on Hachinosu. Thanks to Hibari’s Flower Bullets, the pirates in the background are rendered ineffective.
Sentomaru and Kizaru's shared background
Sentomaru, as seen in the image from Toei Animation's One Piece, is depicted in his Marine uniform while surrounded by the Pacifista. The lasers emitted by the Pacifista cyborgs are portrayed as transitioning into Kizaru’s body, serving as a direct reference to the fact that the lasers are derived from the Admiral’s Logia Devil Fruit.

Following that, Kizaru is depicted casually plunging into the ocean, followed by scenes of Bartholomew Kuma and Jewelry Bonney. Additionally, there is a moment featuring S-Shark being electrocuted by Nami’s lightning technique.
A young Sentomaru is portrayed as excited and awestruck as he watches Kizaru showcase the abilities of the Glint-Glint Fruit by using a laser. However, the Admiral’s laser accidentally smashes Luffy into Egghead’s Frontier Dome. (Image via Toei Animation, One Piece)

In two rapid successive scenes, the opening reveals Vegapunk Shaka, captured in the moment before he is to be fatally shot, and a large hand caressing S-Snake's head. The hand belongs to Vegapunk York, who is ordering the Seraphim to eliminate anyone on Egghead so that she can proceed with her malicious plan.

Luffy makes a grand return, displaying the various outfits he has worn over the course of the series. Upon appearing on the screen, the entire crew of the Straw Hat Pirates showcases their various attire as they walk across diverse terrains that symbolize the locations they have traveled throughout their adventure.

The subsequent part of the opening delves into some of the pivotal battles showcased in the Egghead Arc, notably the intense showdown between Luffy and Rob Lucci. The scene portrays Lucci, in his Awakened Zoan form, and Luffy, powered up to Gear 5, poised to clash in a high-stakes confrontation.
An arc filled with amazing showdowns

Grievous developments
Following this, the sequence features glimpses of Shanks facing off against Eustass Kid, Blackbeard taking on Law, Kuzan battling Garp, S-Hawk dueling with Zoro, and once again, Lucci confronting Luffy. Despite the impressive visual display, numerous fans on social media couldn't resist poking fun at the fact that the Kid vs. Shanks scene in the opening lasted longer than the entire fight in the manga.

As their Armament Haki-imbued fists collided, the fire emanating from Luffy's punch transformed into the fiery aura of Sabo. However, before Sabo's flames could take hold, Imu-sama's devilish arrow swept them away, evoking memories of the latest Reverie flashback. A look of disappointment then overtakes Sabo's face.

As Sabo stood in the foreground, a flock of Karasu’s black crows soared into the sky above Mary Geoise. The scene then seamlessly transitioned into a vision of white seagulls, the News Coo, heading towards Arabasta. It was a clear indication of the impending tragic news of Nefertari Cobra’s passing.
The tyranny that torments the world
Shortly thereafter, a scene shows Morgans, the president of the World Economy News Paper, utilizing his large feathered wing to conceal the faces of Wapol and Nefertari Vivi, implying that he is deliberately keeping them hidden from the World Government.
Imu-sama is depicted as a malevolent force in the world (Image via Toei Animation, One Piece). The opening scene tantalizingly hints at the historical encounter between Vegapunk and Dragon, during which the pair paid tribute to Ohara. Abruptly, the imagery shifts to swords and butterflies encircling the Empty Throne in Mary Geoise, with Imu-sama ominously seated upon it in the background.
Those who fall, and those who stumble but go ahead

Nefertari Vivi and Jewelry Bonney
Sabo, Kid, and Law are each shown, clearly wounded and bloodied, set against a backdrop of darkness. Similarly, Koby is depicted in a similar state, but he ultimately rises and emerges from the shadows, representing his ability to overcome his adversaries unlike the rest.

In the following scene, Vivi is seen running towards an exit, the same hole that Wapol created in the walls of Pangaea Castle. This opening then transforms into the paw-shaped bubble where Bartholomew Kuma stored his memories, only for Jewelry Bonney to enter and discover the story of his father's life.
Egghead and the Grand Line
Many fans have theorized that this sequence foreshadows Vivi's eventual acquisition of Kuma’s Paw-Paw Fruit. This widely accepted assumption is rooted in the numerous subtle hints scattered throughout the One Piece series.
The different paths that start from the Red Line (Image via Toei Animation, One Piece)
The attention then shifts back to the Straw Hats, depicted from an aerial perspective. The camera steadily rises, eventually capturing the entirety of Egghead Island, before transitioning into the different paths that start from the Red Line.
The conclusion

The opening concludes with a shot of Luffy from behind. Megumi Ishitani's masterful closing scene is a mirror of Luffy's description of his true dream to his companions at the beginning, but from a different angle. This is a fitting conclusion to an intro that can be considered one of the best in the series and in the anime industry overall.
