The 1089th episode of One Piece began with Jinbe and Chopper expressing their admiration for Luffy's dream. Franky reminded Luffy of his goal to become the King of the Pirates, while Robin highlighted the need to find the final Road Ponegliff, a task no one has yet achieved. Despite the challenges, Franky emphasized the importance of finding it, as their captain's dream hinged on its discovery.

The Marines at the Navy Headquarters in the New World were able to successfully trace Sabo's call to the Kamabakka Kingdom. The Flame Emperor's failure to block the call indicated its urgency, leading the Marines to take advantage of this opportunity to determine his exact location.
In episode 1089 of One Piece, the Marines found Sabo in the Lulusia Kingdom, one of the countries affected by the Eight-Nation Revolution after the recent Reverie. After returning from the Reverie, King Seki and Princess Comane of the Lulusia Kingdom were captured by rebels and placed under house arrest. The Revolutionary Army had arrived on the island just days before, providing a safe refuge for Sabo.

In One Piece episode 1089, Sabo informed his fellow members of the Revolutionary Army, including Dragon, that he was not behind the assassination of King Cobra. This revelation, along with news of his safety, sparked joy among them.
But Sabo had more to reveal about Marijoa. He was about to share important information about the Pangaea Castle and the Empty Throne, which should not be occupied as there is no World King, when the call was suddenly disconnected.
Kingdom of Lulusia's fate

In One Piece episode 1089, clouds started to gather over the Kingdom of Lulusia, causing the inhabitants to wonder about a mysterious object in the sky. Meanwhile, in the castle, Seki and Comane continued to show no remorse and harbor animosity towards their subjects. They insisted on being freed from their cell, warning the guards of dire repercussions once the Navy Headquarters found out about their predicament. However, the subjects simply desired the former King to admit his wrongdoings and issue an apology.

Meanwhile, the Five Elders, who had also been monitoring Sabo's call, ordered the Marines' Communications Department to stop monitoring Sabo. They also commanded that the official story should reject the idea that Sabo's call was being traced, and that the Kingdom of Lulusia was never real.
The scene then showed beams of light descending from the swirling clouds and annihilating the Kingdom of Lulusia, causing a massive seaquake. Meanwhile, Imu remained in the flower chamber, with butterflies fluttering around her.

Episode 1089 of One Piece captures the Thousand Sunny navigating through treacherous waves and icebergs, while also keeping an eye out for the occasional Neptunian. The harsh weather, with freezing temperatures and powerful winds, takes its toll on the Straw Hats, despite their warm attire.
Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro stumbled upon a large, swirling Eddy, a mass of warm water. Within it, Luffy spotted a trapped individual, while Sanji recognized the voice as belonging to a girl. Zoro then swiftly sliced through the bulbous formation to set her free.

Chopper, who had just appeared on deck, was suddenly swept away by the wind. Luffy attempted to save him but was also thrown off the ship. In mid-air, he skillfully caught both Chopper and the girl, who was revealed to be Jewelry Bonney in a child form. With concern in her expression, Bonney gestured for the crew to look down. The episode concluded with a chilling shot of a colossal monster poised to engulf the Straw Hats.

Previously, the episode started with the revelation that Rayleigh had saved Hancock from the Navy and Blackbeard's crew, who were subsequently expelled from the island. The scene then shifted to the Kamabakka Queendom, where Koala was distressed about Sabo.
Word had gotten out that he had killed King Cobra. Dragon vowed not to forgive him if the accusations were valid. Meanwhile, Sabo tried to apologize to Koala for the trouble he had caused, but the Marines were tracing his call.
In other parts of the ocean, Luffy and his crew were surprised by Sabo's supposed wrongdoing. Luffy, concerned about Vivi's absence, expressed his desire to head to Alabasta and Marijoa promptly, but Zoro advised against it. Luffy then revealed his ambitions to his crew, believing that they could be realized once he became the Pirate King.
