The much-anticipated One Piece chapter 1101 is scheduled for release on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 12 am JST. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this chapter and have already had a sneak peek of what's to come thanks to leaked spoilers earlier in the week. The raw scans, which were slightly delayed, are now available, giving readers a complete look at what could be the second-to-last installment of the year 2023.
The latest raw scans reveal that Kuma had encountered Luffy at least twice before he set out on his pirate journey. This revelation sheds light on certain events that happen later in the story. However, the most exciting part of the chapter is Bonney’s Devil Fruit, sparking speculation about its great potential, especially when Awakened.

The initial scans of One Piece chapter 1101 begin with a flashback to three years in the past, at Mt. Colubo in the Goa Kingdom of East Blue. It is here that Kuma observes a sixteen-year-old Luffy causing chaos to the environment as he hones his Devil Fruit abilities.
Kuma remembers a conversation with Dragon, where he mentioned seeing Luffy. Dragon, visibly annoyed, told Kuma to just kill him if he planned to continue discussing it, admitting his weakness when it comes to his son. Realizing his mistake, Kuma vowed to forget what he had seen.
As Kuma's recollection comes to an end, he overhears Luffy planning to save his Gum-Gum Axe technique for stronger opponents and his determination to protect his crew from those who would try to separate them. Just then, Kuma receives a call and has to leave, but Luffy senses his presence for a brief moment, sending shivers down his spine.

Subsequently, Kuma, following the orders of the World Government, chases after a pirate ship that had attacked a merchant vessel. In the meantime, he continues his letter to Bonney, expressing his view of the world as a breathtaking place that cannot be fully captured in photographs or story books. He also longs to witness her radiant smile as she encounters these marvels.
The raw scans of One Piece chapter 1101 depict Sorbet Kingdom, where Bonney eagerly awaits Kuma's letters, only to discover that Alpha has been intercepting them. Unbeknownst to Alpha, Bonney has secretly been refining her Devil Fruit power, following Conney's instructions.
In another scene, Kuma is shown at Vegapunk's lab, where Stussy reflects on their tragic fates - Kuma losing his individuality and she, a clone with consciousness. Despite this, Vegapunk reassures her that she is as human as anyone else and urges her to stop.

Vegapunk proceeds to convey to Kuma that the loss of one's individuality would result in unquestioningly carrying out an order to harm a child, as both his memories and his compassion would be wiped away. After discovering that he only has a year left of his consciousness, Kuma decides to send more letters to Bonney.
The initial scans of One Piece chapter 1101 show Conney organizing a birthday party for Bonney to celebrate her ninth birthday. However, Bonney becomes emotional and cries when she realizes that she has not received a letter from Kuma after the party.
Meanwhile, Kuma continues to sporadically aid the Revolutionary Army over the next six months, and out of respect for his wishes, Dragon chooses not to pursue him.

The concluding part of One Piece chapter 1101 shows Bonney, who has now fully recovered, being prohibited from leaving the church by Alpha. However, Conney, upon learning that Alpha is a government agent, makes arrangements for Bonney to flee to the port and embark on a journey to find her father.
As the ship sails away and Alpha approaches, Bonney remembers Kuma's description of Nika's rubbery body and boundless combat skills. Employing her Distorted Future technique, she manifests a huge arm, reminiscent of Luffy's, and effortlessly incapacitates Alpha.
