Nick Viall and his pregnant partner, Natalie Joy, are being cautious before their baby arrives. The couple has already learned the gender of their baby but have chosen not to share it yet. In fact, Viall has shared incorrect information with some friends as a way to test their trustworthiness.
He continued, "You never know. Suddenly, news spreads like wildfire and someone might say, 'Oh, I heard you're having a...' and then you discover the source."
Viall indicated that his aim was to assess if his friends are prone to gossip, stating, "If you are aware of [the sex], then maybe you aren't completely clueless."
Viall and Joy, both 24, shared the exciting news of their pregnancy on Tuesday, August 8, through a heartfelt social media announcement. They joyfully captioned their stunning maternity photos and adorable sonogram, expressing that their greatest dream has finally been realized.

Joy mentioned that her pregnancy has strengthened her bond with Viall. She mentioned that they have experienced several beautiful moments together, such as visiting the doctor, getting ultrasounds, and seeing their baby.

"We discussed various ideas for the ceremony, but I didn't want to rush and change the date. Additionally, I have some family members who are unwell, and I didn't want to take any chances by postponing it. So, we decided to have a baby at our wedding instead. After that, we plan to go on our honeymoon and bring along either my mom or a nanny."
Prior to Joy giving birth, Viall has already begun contemplating his approach to parenting. As revealed by the former Bachelor, he intends to instill a strong work ethic."
"I simply do not want to raise a child who is indulged and entitled. It is essential for me to provide my child with what I can afford. Of course, I want to shower them with affection and emotional support. However, I also highly value the strong work ethic instilled in me by my parents," he explained. "My aim is for them to appreciate the rewards that come from working hard towards their goals. I want them to understand the worth of their possessions, which ultimately leads to making more discerning choices in life."
