Nick Viall, who considers himself a "marijuana connoisseur," is looking to make significant changes to his lifestyle after the arrival of his first child with fiancée Natalie Joy. On a recent episode of his "Viall Files" podcast, the 43-year-old discussed his plans with guest Crystal Kung Minkoff, revealing his openness to different methods of using marijuana but expressing his resolve to cut back on his own habits.
Viall stated that he was informed about upcoming changes due to the arrival of his daughter, which he genuinely appreciates. He then expressed his disdain for the habit of smoking, noting that he has never smoked a cigarette and has always taken pride in that, yet finds himself smoking a joint.
Viall and Joy became engaged in January and seven months later, they revealed that they are expecting their first child. Throughout her pregnancy, 25-year-old Joy has been open about her efforts to persuade Viall to quit smoking.
"Look, I don't want our daughter going to school and telling everyone, 'My dad was smoking weed at home,'" she expressed on Thursday's episode. "I don't want her to be exposed to that kind of environment in our house."

In addition to conquering his addiction, Viall and Joy are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby. They recently revealed the baby's name to Kung Minkoff, 40, although it was censored for audiences. The RHOBH star expressed her admiration for their chosen name and even offered to gift them a Snoo bassinet for their daughter, as she was an early investor in the product. Despite this excitement, Joy has faced challenges during her pregnancy, particularly as she enters her third trimester.
"I'm exhausted. How's your sleep last night, you little troublemaker?" Joy sarcastically inquired of Viall at the start of the podcast episode. "I know you slept well because you snored in my ear all night while I was awake and our daughter was having a lively workout session in my stomach."
Although Viall sympathized with Joy's pregnancy discomfort, she expressed that "it definitely wasn't pleasant" and there's "nothing delicate or gentle" about the baby's movements.

"They're all really aggressive and incredibly strong," Joy remarked. "And it's tough not knowing what position they're in."
Viall chimed in, mentioning that their baby is "kicking a lot these days." He continued, "You can actually see it. It's pretty wild... I felt it and those kicks are strong. I can't tell if it's a kick, a punch, or a head-butt."
