New Honkai World Unveiled in Star Rail Leak

A new leak has surfaced regarding Honkai: Star Rail, hinting at the theme of the game's next playable world in the popular sci-fi RPG. After the highly anticipated launch of HoYoverse RPG last month, the game's developer, Genshin Impact, achieved massive success with fans, surpassing 20 million downloads in just one day. The debut gacha banner also boasted sales similar to the highest earning characters in Genshin Impact. Currently, leaks are teasing the next world that players will get to explore in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail's opening update includes three different locations for players to explore, each with treasure and side quests to discover. Players start their journey aboard the Herta Space Station before traveling to the planets of Jarilo-IV and the planetary ship of Xianzhou Luofu. The initial areas of Star Rail already offer a diverse range of inspirations, from the snow-covered plains of Belobog to the Chinese-themed Luofu. The leaks have given a glimpse into what players can expect from the theme of Honkai: Star Rail's next locale.

According to a recent leak from HoYoverse insider Merlin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming playable world will be a combination of American and French themes from the late 1800s and early 1900s. While details about the new world are scarce, it is expected to be the first major expansion to the game's playable area. Interestingly, Honkai: Star Rail's addition of a France-themed world follows closely on the heels of another HoYoverse game, Genshin Impact, which is rumored to be introducing a French-inspired region called Fontaine later this summer. This would not be the first time that Honkai: Star Rail has taken inspiration from Genshin Impact, as both games previously featured regions inspired by their home country of China.

HoYoverse recently announced the upcoming content for the first post-launch update of Star Rail. The Version 1.1 update, set to release next week, will introduce three new characters to the game - Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong. Additionally, players can engage in various events during the update, including a management mini-game on Jarilo-VI and a Silver Wolf event. Fans of Honkai: Star Rail can anticipate an exciting experience in Version 1.1 and beyond. The game is currently available on PC and mobile devices, with PS4 and PS5 versions in progress.
