Topaz is set to debut as a five-star character in Honkai: Star Rail, boasting the Fire element and serving as a DPS character who follows the Hunt Path. Despite this, little is known about Topaz's role in the game's storyline as she has yet to officially appear in Honkai: Star Rail.

While Topaz's inclusion as a new Fire element DPS character is exciting, Honkai: Star Rail already has several powerful Fire element characters across different classes. Himeko serves as an Erudition sub-DPS, while the Fire Trailblazer is a Preservation tank. However, Topaz is expected to pair well with Asta, a free character who provides powerful Weakness Break for Fire and buffs her Fire allies. Although a release date for Topaz has not been given, it is unlikely that she will debut before Version 1.3.

As Honkai: Star Rail gears up for a series of post-launch updates, players can expect a substantial increase in the game's roster.
