Milo Ventimiglia has tied the knot with Jarah Mariano in a private wedding ceremony, confirming their official status as a married couple. The intimate event, held earlier this year, was attended by their loved ones and close friends.
Ventimiglia, 46, and Mariano, 38, were first romantically linked last year but have never publicly acknowledged their relationship. In recent months, the couple has been seen together in California, following Ventimiglia's purchase of a ranch home in Malibu during the summer of 2022.
Although Ventimiglia has always been discreet about his personal life, he revealed exclusively to Us in March 2017 that portraying the role of Jack Pearson on This Is Us has made him contemplate his future more deeply.
“It doesn’t make me want to have a family any more than I think I’m inherently inclined to desire a strong family unit,” he expressed at the time. “The occurrence of starting a family will transpire naturally. I am not actively pursuing it. It is rather a matter of being open to it when the opportune moment arises and aligns with my life circumstances.”

Playing a father on the NBC series was a thrilling experience for the actor, who expressed his delight, mentioning that while he doesn't have children of his own, he does have nieces and nephews. He highlighted that this role allows him to enact his own desire to guide and shape young minds positively.
Ventimiglia's personal relationships have remained private, but fans of Gilmore Girls have been heavily invested in the love life of his character Jess Mariano for a long time. Interestingly, his new wife shares the same last name as his well-known TV character.
In the series that aired from 2000 to 2007, Jess developed feelings for Rory Gilmore (played by Alexis Bledel), one of the main characters. Many viewers were rooting for the rebellious and secretly intellectual bad boy to end up with Rory. However, when the series ended, Rory remained single.
In the 2021 revival called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which was released on Netflix, Rory's relationship status once again became a heated topic of discussion. When Rory revealed that she was pregnant, fans were left wondering about the identity of the father, and most clues seemed to point to Logan Huntzberger (played by Matt Czuchry).
During a September 2021 interview on the "I'm All In" podcast, Ventimiglia playfully suggested that Jess and Rory were exactly what they needed for each other at one point, but ultimately went their separate ways. He emphasized that this is not a negative outcome, but rather something to appreciate. (Reporting by Leanne Aciz Stanton)
