Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin got married in Hungary, where Palvin is from, after a month of announcing their engagement. Online photos show the couple walking down the aisle on July 17th, with Palvin in an elegant and minimalist wedding gown, and Sprouse dressed in a traditional black tuxedo at a church ceremony.
Dylan's brother, Cole Sprouse, and a priest can be observed walking behind the newly married couple in one photo. Another picture captures the couple happily celebrating alone as they exit the venue. Although the couple has not addressed the wedding, they previously announced their intention to marry in Hungary.
"I am thrilled to showcase that aspect of myself and share my cultural background, including the locations where I was raised and have visited," Palvin enthusiastically shared with V Magazine in June. "I believe that through this, many people will come to know even more about me. I knew that having a wedding in Hungary was a must, as my parents would have been extremely disappointed if we didn't."
Just a month before their wedding, Palvin confirmed that she and Dylan had been engaged for several months.
She captioned a photo on Instagram from her and Dylan's joint V Magazine cover shoot in June, stating, "With the power invested in V, I am proud to be a Sprouse." The couple, who started dating in June 2018, wore wedding attire and stood in front of a cake. In the interview conducted by Dylan's brother, Dylan revealed that he had proposed to the model in September 2022, but they decided to keep the news private for some time.
"We didn't feel the need to completely disclose that aspect of our engagement to the public," he stated. "Our intention with Stephen and the V team was to create something lighthearted that highlighted the contrast between private and public. We wanted to explore the concept of perception."
On her end, Palvin concurred with her partner's sentiment and was delighted that they were able to announce the thrilling news in their own way.
"I mean, Dylan had seven months to prepare for his proposal, but for me, it was a spontaneous decision," she recalled. "I knew from the beginning of our relationship that I wanted to marry him, but it's a significant choice."
Before the photo shoot, there were rumors circulating that the couple had already taken their relationship to the next level. At the time, we confirmed that Palvin had been referring to Dylan as her fiancé. "They prefer to keep their personal lives private," a trusted source disclosed, adding, "They have discussed the possibility of getting married and starting a family in the near future."
