How To Get The Treated Potion Satchel

In Final Fantasy 16, players will need to find a way to expand Clive's potion satchel in order to carry more items. Unlike previous titles where players could collect up to 99 items, Clive's inventory is limited and any excess items he comes across will have to be used if his inventory is already full.

Players will heavily rely on healing items throughout their playthrough of Final Fantasy 16. However, at the beginning of the game's story, Clive is limited in the number of healing items he can carry, making the option to heal unavailable at times. Thankfully, there are two items that players can obtain to expand Clive's inventory. But obtaining these items requires significant effort.

As players delve into the opening of Final Fantasy 16, they will soon discover that Clive's inventory is rather restricted. He is only able to carry a maximum of four Potions, three High Potions, two Stoneskin Tonics, and two Strength Tonics.

While this initial limitation may not pose a significant inconvenience in the early stages of the game, players will eventually find themselves in need of a greater variety of healing items as they progress through the story. To expand Clive's inventory and access to more items, players must embark on specific side quests to obtain two unique items: the Treated Potion Satchel and the Expanded Potion Satchel.

To acquire the Treated Potion Satchel, players must successfully finish the side quest called Weird Science. This particular quest becomes accessible during Letting Off Steam 3, which is the forty-seventh main quest in Final Fantasy 16.

After completing the Weird Science side quest, Clive embarks on a mission to locate and defeat the Bomb King, retrieving its ashes to present to Owain, the Engineer. In appreciation of Clive's efforts, Owain generously offers him a Treated Potion Satchel along with a coveted Black Hood.

With the Treated Potion Satchel in possession, Clive gains the ability to conveniently carry a total of six Potions, four High Potions, three Stoneskin Tonics, and three Strength Tonics.

Acquiring the Enhanced Potion Satchel can greatly benefit players who often run out of items, but those looking to carry even more should actively pursue the Expanded Potion Satchel. Clive will obtain this valuable item upon successfully completing the side quest "Even Weirder Science," which becomes available during "Across the Narrow," the sixty-second main quest in Final Fantasy 16.

All Spherical Echo Locations:

To obtain the first Spherical Echo, Clive must venture southeast from the Krozjit Echo fast-travel point.

The Second Spherical Echo can be discovered by heading north from the Hawk's Cry Cliff, continuing through Shallop Rock, and taking a left turn.

To find the Third Spherical Echo, make your way southwest from the Northreach fast-travel point and continue until you reach a dead end.

Clive can complete the Even Weirder Science side quest by acquiring all three Spherical Echoes and returning to Owain. In gratitude for Clive's help, Owain will give him the Expanded Potion Satchel and a Goblin Coin.

The Expanded Potion Satchel allows Clive to carry a larger quantity of items, including eight Potions, five High Potions, four Stoneskin Tonics, and four Strength Tonics.

Final Fantasy 16 is now available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
