Final Fantasy 16 presents itself as one of Square Enix's most ambitious projects, with Clive Rosfield taking on the role of the main protagonist. As the narrative unfolds, Clive, originally the First Shield, finds himself unexpectedly aligned with a group of assassins due to unforeseen circumstances. Right from the start, it becomes apparent that Clive possesses remarkable skills that he must utilize to overcome formidable adversaries. Players who assume control of Clive will encounter a wide array of weapons throughout their adventure, each serving as a valuable asset.
How to Equip Weapons
As the game progresses, the adversaries become more formidable, requiring Clive to exert greater effort in order to overcome them. To ensure Clive's success in battle, players can equip him with stronger weapons. Accessing the menu can be done by pressing the pause button on the controller, which will bring up the Items tab. From there, players need to press the R2 button twice to navigate to the Gear & Eikon tab and move the cursor to the sign depicted in the image.
To access the weapons list, players need to press the X button. This will display the stats of all available weapons, allowing players to compare and choose the one that best suits their needs. Additionally, the weapons list provides a description of each weapon for further information. Once players have made their selection, they can easily equip the desired weapon by moving the cursor over it and pressing the X button again. Upon returning to the game, Clive will now be equipped with the newly chosen weapon. The process is similar if players wish to add other gear.
To equip new Belt, Vambrose, or Accessories, players need to pause the game, navigate to the Gear & Eikon tab, and make their selection. Alternatively, they can switch between different gear lists by using the L1 or R1 buttons.
Players should keep a close watch on Clive's accessories as they provide some rather useful abilities.
After selecting the gear, players can resume the game and enjoy vanquishing their enemies.
Final Fantasy 16 will release on June 22, 2023, for PlayStation 5.
