Maria Georgas, a contestant on season 28 of The Bachelor, addressed rumors about her dad, Nick Georgas, supposedly throwing shade at Daisy Kent.

Nick Georgas appeared on the “BachMakers” podcast on April 9th and was questioned about the possibility of Maria, who is 29 years old, becoming The Bachelorette.

Nick didn't want to talk much about The Bachelorette. He believes it wouldn't be fair to Jenn Tran, who is a great person and the star of the show.

According to Nick, it's not right for anyone to reveal if they were offered the role of the Bachelorette and declined.

When a user commented on TikTok about Maria's dad "shading Daisy," Maria assured them that her dad has not seen any interviews with Daisy and that his opinions are solely based on the questions he's being asked.

After Joey Graziadei proposed to Kelsey Anderson during The Bachelor season 28 finale in March, fans speculated that Maria or Daisy, aged 25, would be the next Bachelorette. However, it was announced during the After the Final Rose episode that Jenn, aged 26, had been chosen for the role.

Moments before the announcement, host Jesse Palmer invited Daisy onto the stage. Surprisingly, she declined the role in front of everyone.

Daisy later shared her reasons for turning down the opportunity. She explained, “There are a few reasons. One is my health. Being the lead requires a lot from you, both emotionally and physically.” Daisy, who is deaf and has a cochlear implant, revealed this on a recent episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. She added, “The late nights, the constant pressure - I knew it would take a toll on my health.”

Daisy also mentioned that she wasn't prepared for the particular aspect being discussed, which appears to be related to the expectation of getting engaged at the end of the season.

"I didn't fully grasp the magnitude of being on the show and what it entails," Daisy explained. "At this moment, I just want to focus on living a happy life. I'm open to new opportunities, but I feel that this particular opportunity isn't the right fit for me at this time."

Who is considered the best 'Bachelor' couple of all time? When making her decision official, Daisy mentioned that she had "a lot of conversations" with her family members and previous Bachelor Nation leads.

"People were saying it was really tough, but many also mentioned it was worth it in the end. No one had any regrets," she explained. "They did advise to be fully prepared if you decide to go for it. It just didn't seem like the right time."
