Madonna has recently broken her silence following her hospitalization due to a bacterial infection.

In an Instagram post on Monday, July 10, the 64-year-old pop icon expressed her gratitude for the support and well wishes she has received. She stated, "I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone for their positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have genuinely felt the love and am now in the process of recuperating. Moreover, I am immensely appreciative of all the blessings in my life."

After waking up in the hospital, Madonna's immediate thoughts were about her children. She has a daughter named Lourdes Leon, 26, with her ex-partner Carlos Leon and a son named Rocco, 22, with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. Madonna is also the mother of adopted son David Banda and daughter Mercy James, both 17, as well as twins Stella and Estere, 10. In addition, Madonna announced that her upcoming Celebration tour, originally set to start in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, July 15, will be delayed.

"I wrote this with the intention of not disappointing those who have purchased tickets for my tour," she stated. "Equally, it was vital for me to not let down the dedicated individuals who have worked alongside me tirelessly in the past months to bring my show to life. Disappointing anyone is something I truly despise. At present, my main focus is on my well-being and regaining my strength. I can assure you that I will return to you as soon as I am able!"

Madonna mentioned that the current plan entails rescheduling her North American tour dates, and commencing the tour in October with a four-night residency in London.

“I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support,” she concluded. “Love, M.”

Madonna was hospitalized a few days before June 28th after developing a severe bacterial infection. Guy Oseary, Madonna's long-time manager, informed through Instagram that she was admitted to the ICU on June 24th. Oseary mentioned that while Madonna's health was improving, she still required medical attention and was expected to fully recover. Oseary also stated that Madonna would have to temporarily suspend all her commitments, including her tour.

Earlier this month, a reliable source informed us that Madonna is currently taking a much-needed break following her recent health scare. While she is eager to return to work, she is prioritizing her recovery and is in no rush to resume her hectic schedule. Madonna's health remains her utmost concern, and she is grateful for the love and support she has received from her strong support system. Although her journey to full recovery is ongoing, she remains optimistic, feeling more confident and improved with each passing day.
