Lindsay Hubbard was not happy with Carl Radke talking about their relationship.

On the episode of Summer House that aired on Thursday, April 25, Radke, who is 39 years old, talked to his mom and stepdad about the problems he was having with his fiancée. After a Bravo fansite asked viewers for their opinions on the scene, Hubbard, 37, shared her thoughts.

“She suggested that he try gardening,” she commented on Friday, April 26, along with a seedling emoji.

Following her comment, fans started to wonder about the true meaning behind Hubbard's words.

Comments on Bravo's website suggested a possible reference to planting seeds. Some users were unsure if it meant preparing for a breakup or using weed.

In recent episodes of Summer House, Hubbard has raised concerns about her costar's sobriety. Radke celebrated three years of being clean in January and has stated that he has not used any drugs this season.

During this week's episode, Radke opened up to his parents about the challenges in his relationship with Hubbard. He mentioned how he used to keep everything to himself out of fear that he would upset Lindsay if she found out he was talking to others about their relationship.

His parents suggested that maybe it would be a good idea to put a hold on any wedding plans and concentrate on strengthening the relationship instead.

Before their breakup, the couple faced another challenge when Radke had difficulty finding a job. Hubbard, who was considering starting a family, wanted to ensure that her partner had a secure job and could support them financially.

However, when Hubbard discussed their future together, she wasn't sure if Radke was truly listening to her.

"I feel like if I'm the one who is carrying the child for nine months, managing everything, and doing all the work, then I deserve a break," she expressed on the Summer House: After Show. "I am doing everything possible to ignite a fire in this man."

"Most men would take responsibility and figure things out because they also want a family. If you have to endure the physical challenges of childbirth, then they should step up and assist," Hubbard added. "It's important to do something to support me."

Summer House airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock the next day.

Editor's P/S:

Lindsay Hubbard's subtle comment on Carl Radke's gardening suggestion highlights the complex dynamics within their relationship. The reference to planting seeds suggests Hubbard may be pondering the future of their engagement, particularly in light of Radke's past struggles with sobriety and their recent financial challenges. Hubbard's desire for a stable and supportive partner, combined with her concerns about Radke's ability to provide that, adds further tension to their situation.

The article also sheds light on the importance of communication and support within relationships. Radke's reluctance to share his relationship struggles with others out of fear of upsetting Hubbard demonstrates a lack of open and honest dialogue. Hubbard's frustration stems from feeling like she is carrying the weight of their relationship and future plans without adequate support from her partner. The challenges faced by the couple serve as a reminder of the complexities of relationships and the need for both individuals to be actively engaged and supportive in order for them to thrive.
