Lindsay Hubbard is currently verifying the accuracy of Kyle Cooke's recent remarks regarding her breakup with her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke.
In a recent interview with E! News, Cooke, who is 41 years old, asserted that the former couple had been undergoing couples therapy "since they essentially began their relationship." However, during an episode of "The Viall Files" podcast, Hubbard clarified that Cooke's statements are not accurate.
"We were previously in couples therapy, but not from the beginning of our relationship, as Kyle claimed," Hubbard, 37, shared on the podcast's November 8 episode. She also mentioned that Cooke is currently in couples therapy with his wife Amanda Batula. "I don't appreciate him criticizing me for being in couples therapy," Hubbard added.
Hubbard then detailed her and Radke's journey in couples therapy, revealing that they actually started therapy after one year of being together in November 2022. "He was going through a difficult period with his job at Loverboy," she reminisced. "He was very unhappy, and our communication suffered. The initial excitement of the relationship had faded away."
Hubbard and Radke, aged 38, had a brief relationship during the filming of Summer House season 4 in 2019. Although their romantic connection faded away, they reignited their relationship in the autumn of 2021 and eventually became engaged in August 2022 while filming Summer House season 7.
In August, we confirmed that the couple ended their relationship while filming for the show's upcoming eighth season, just three months before they were supposed to get married in Mexico. Hubbard expressed disappointment with Radke's decision to end things on camera during an exclusive interview with Us earlier this month, mentioning, "The whole world became aware of my breakup within 30 minutes."

During Wednesday's podcast, host Nick Viall expressed surprise at Hubbard's belief that Cooke was taken aback by their separation. Viall, 43, stated, "It would have made more sense if you had told me that maybe Cooke and Carl had been having frequent conversations about his career at Loverboy, and Kyle had sown a few seeds of doubt." Meanwhile, Hubbard admitted that she had no knowledge of the possible conversations that might have taken place between Cooke and Radke in private. She asserted, "There might have been times over the summer when Kyle whispered in Carl's ear." Hubbard went on to explain that she believes Kyle has held a grudge against her for years, always assuming the worst about her and viewing her as a manipulative and calculated person. However, she countered this perception, stating, "No, I'm just smarter and faster. I think on my feet."
Hubbard went on to express his belief that Kyle is not consistent in his communication, mentioning that he may say one thing to one person and something entirely different to another. As for the conversations that may have taken place, Hubbard suggests that the truth will be revealed once this season airs. However, he is convinced that someone had influenced Carl. The identity of this individual remains unknown.
Hubbard and Viall are not alone in their suspicions about Cooke's involvement in the breakup of the former couple. Captain Lee Rosbach, from Below Deck, also expressed his frustration with Kyle's actions in a recent episode of his podcast, "Salty With Captain Lee". According to Rosbach, he believes Kyle played a part in the breakup to some extent.
Rosbach, who is 73 years old, justified his assertion by referring to an incident that occurred during season 7 of Summer House. He recounted how Kyle became extremely intoxicated one night and proceeded to verbally assault Lindsay with all manner of derogatory language, all while Carl was present. Surprisingly, Carl remained calm throughout the ordeal and refrained from reacting aggressively, despite having every justification to do so.
