Lindsay Hubbard Opens Up About Pre-Split 'Summer House' Season 8 Photo Shoot with Carl Radke

Lindsay Hubbard is pointing to the Summer House season 8 cast photo as further proof that Carl Radke reportedly caught her off guard when he called off their engagement.
Lindsay, 37, reflected on the #SummerHouse poster photoshoot, saying "I feel like I've lived 100 lives since that day." She shared a picture with the cast, including Carl, 38, and mentioned that it was 12 days before he called off the wedding and broke up.
In August 2023, Carl announced the cancellation of his upcoming wedding with Lindsay while they were filming for season 8. The couple had plans to get married in Mexico in November.
The official season 8 trailer, released on Thursday, provided fans with an insight into the difficulties that caused Carl and Lindsay to end their relationship. The clip showed Carl, who has been sober since January 2021, accusing Lindsay of falsely claiming that he was using drugs.
“She’s saying, ‘You’re arguing with me.’ Then she starts asking, ‘What are you on? What are you on?’” Carl recounted to his costars Kyle and Jesse. In his confessional, he pondered, “Is that really the person I’m supposed to marry?”

The trailer then depicted Lindsay and Carl engaged in a heated argument.
"I'm not happy, and I don't think you're happy," he remarked. "You need to have control over the other person in a relationship. ... You're quite skilled at playing the victim."
Lindsay was caught on camera walking away as their breakup unfolded.
"I expected a different reaction from her," Carl said to the cameras. "She's going to have to come up with a story and tell everyone she's shocked. I'll take the blame, but she's oblivious to everything that's been happening over the past year."
Despite the unexpected turn of events in Lindsay's 2023, she kicked off the new year on a positive note. Earlier this month, she announced the purchase of a new house, which she intends to use as a rental property.
