Legal Expert Predicts Christine Quinn's Husband Will Face Felony Charges Regardless of Her Decision

In an exclusive interview, legal analyst Neama Rahmani reveals that Christian Richard, husband of Christine Quinn, is set to face felony charges following his arrest, irrespective of Christine's stance on pressing charges.

Christine Quinn's husband, Christian Richard, is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident.

Legal expert Neama Rahmani, who is not connected to the case, explained that Christian is likely to be charged with a felony. This is because causing harm that could result in serious injury, such as throwing glass, can elevate the assault to a felony offense rather than a misdemeanor.

Rahmani added that Quinn, 35, “does not have to press charges,” as the case is considered a crime against the state.

“The case is going to move forward whether she wants to or not,” he said.

Richard, aged 45, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly throwing a bag with glass at Quinn. Fortunately, the glass missed her but hit their 3-year-old son, Christian.

Pictures from the incident showed Richard being taken into custody in a bathrobe. Despite posting a $300,000 bond and being released from police custody, he was arrested again for violating a restraining order when he returned to Quinn's Hollywood Hills property.

Richard and Quinn have not yet addressed the alleged incident. Rahmani mentioned that in addition to the criminal case Richard is dealing with, there may also be a "dependency case" due to their shared young son.

Social workers may step in if they feel a child is in danger. This could lead to the child being taken away from one or both parents. In cases of domestic violence, if the violence is not stopped, the victim may also lose custody. However, in this situation, the mother did the right thing by calling 911 to protect her child. If a legal case is pursued, it may only be against Christian.

Richard is facing a felony charge, but the outcomes he will encounter are still unclear.

Rahmani explained that the outcome of Richard's case will depend on whether there is a plea offer and if he goes to trial. In cities like Los Angeles, individuals without a criminal record and facing their first offense may receive probation or a suspended sentence. The final decision will be influenced by the negotiations of Richard's lawyers, the facts of the case, his criminal history, and the prosecutor's offer.

Following Richard's arrest, a source revealed that Quinn is intending to leave her husband. The insider disclosed on Thursday, March 21, that she is planning to file for divorce.

Quinn and Richard got married in December 2019. They started Real Open real estate brokerage together in April 2022, after Quinn decided to leave Selling Sunset and the Oppenheim Group.

In a May 2020 interview with Bustle, Quinn described Richard as "everything that [she] ever wanted" in a partner.

"He's completely different from me in every aspect because I enjoy being outgoing and fabulous. On the other hand, he doesn't prioritize dressing up or appearance. His main focus is on his work and traveling, which are important to me as well," she explained.
