'Selling Sunset' Star Christine Quinn and Christian Richard: A Love Story

Selling Sunset alum Christine Quinn found her husband Christian Richard through a mutual friend who played matchmaker. Quinn shared with Bustle in May 2020, "My friend mentioned that he was also looking for a house. I thought it was a double bonus." They had a great steak dinner where they got to know each other and instantly hit it off. According to Quinn, Richard is everything she ever dreamed of.

She mentioned, "He's completely different from me because I enjoy being outgoing and fabulous. On the other hand, he's not into dressing up or looking stylish. His focus is on his work and traveling, which are important to me too."

Quinn and Richard got married in December 2019, less than a year after their relationship began. They welcomed their son, Christian, in May 2021, and had to find new ways to maintain their connection while navigating parenthood.

"Nighttime has become our special time together," she shared exclusively with We in September 2021. "The daytime can get hectic, so we decided to make the nights our own. It's important with babies to establish a routine, so we had to adjust our daily schedule. Our little one typically goes to bed around 7:30. He sleeps until 4:00, then again until 7:00."

Quinn departed from the Oppenheim Group brokerage on Selling Sunset a year later and launched her own firm with Richard.

After the first season of Selling Sunset ended, Quinn was introduced to businessman Richard by a friend. Richard was in the market for a new house in Los Angeles at the time.

Quinn and Richard's winter wonderland-themed wedding was featured in season 3 of the Netflix docuseries. Quinn stood out in her elegant black Gaila Lahav gown, making a bold statement on their special day.

In February 2021, Quinn shared the exciting news of her pregnancy with her fans. Despite being pregnant, she remained dedicated to her work and even documented her journey on Selling Sunset. Addressing rumors that her pregnancy was staged for the show, Quinn welcomed her son Christian into the world in May.

Quinn and Richard were asleep at home when they were suddenly faced with a frightening home invasion.

The next morning, Quinn shared on Instagram Story, "We were so scared and confused. We quickly checked the security footage and saw two armed robbers outside our master bedroom, breaking our glass window."

Quinn and Richard subsequently locked themselves in baby Christian’s nursery, where he was sound asleep, and called the police.

One month later, Us confirmed that Quinn was leaving the Oppenheim Group. She and Richard then launched their own brokerage, RealOpen.

Quinn explained to Forbes that many brokerages hesitate to deal with cryptocurrency because they lack understanding of how it works. This makes it challenging for agents to conduct transactions involving cryptocurrency. She highlighted that brokers often face issues because they lack knowledge about crypto, struggle to navigate the process, and have doubts about its reliability and safety. RealOpen, on the other hand, utilizes a secure and fool-proof process for handling cryptocurrency transactions.

March 2024

On March 20, it was confirmed that Richard was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He allegedly threw a bag containing glass at Quinn, but fortunately, the glass missed the reality TV star and hit their son.

Neither Richard nor Quinn further addressed the alleged incident at the time. Us reached out for comment.
