Christine Quinn has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Christian Richard. This decision came after Richard was arrested twice in March. TMZ reported that a judge approved Quinn's request for the restraining order. The order mandates that Richard must vacate their shared Los Angeles home and keep a distance of at least 100 yards away from Quinn.

Richard is not allowed to interact with the couple’s 2-year-old son, Christian, and their two dogs, Bubby and Teddy according to the temporary restraining order. However, he is permitted to have some contact with Quinn to discuss child visitation.

Quinn’s restraining order was issued two weeks after Richard's arrest for an alleged domestic violence incident. Richard was taken into custody on March 20 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. According to TMZ, he allegedly hit their son with a bag of glass after trying to throw it at Quinn.

After the incident, a temporary restraining order was automatically issued. However, less than 24 hours later, Richard was arrested again for violating the order by returning to his and Quinn’s home.

Following the domestic violence incident, a source exclusively revealed to Us that Quinn is planning on leaving Christian. The source added, “She’s planning on filing for divorce.” Quinn and Richard got married in December 2019 and had their son in May 2021.

Richard took action in response to the conflict by filing a restraining order against Quinn on March 26. He explained that he approached Quinn after their dogs urinated on his things. Despite Quinn's version of the events, Richard clarified that he threw a bag filled with rags and paper towels, not glass, at the wall, not at his wife.

Christian Richard attempted to remove their son from the scene, but Christine Quinn reached the toddler first. She moved the child to a separate room and called the police.

In her own court documents, Quinn accused Richard of throwing "dog feces" at her during a recent argument. She also mentioned that he urinated on the floor and threw floral arrangements on the ground. Quinn then decided to lock him out of the house and spent the night in the master bedroom with her son.

Quinn also made other accusations against her estranged husband. She claimed that Richard faked a suicide attempt in September 2023 to test her feelings towards him. In her filing for a restraining order in March, Quinn described an incident where Richard became angry at her for working and proceeded to pour handfuls of pills into his mouth, claiming he was dying.

She continued: “After what felt like an hour of [Christian] apparently falling in and out of consciousness and me being terrified, he suddenly appeared sober again and said, ‘You passed the test, you really do love me.’”

Another source exclusively told Us last month that Quinn “felt controlled by Christian their whole relationship” and that “she has felt unsafe for a while.” The insider added: “It has been toxic for several months and Christine has been in distress. … It is going to be a long messy road ahead of them, as they both have restraining orders and are not in agreement on plans with their son.”

According to attorney and legal expert Neama Rahmani, Richard may face a felony charge even if Quinn doesn't press charges. The consequences for Richard will depend on his lawyers' negotiations, the facts of the case, his criminal history, and the prosecutor's decision.
