At the 2023 BET Soul Train Awards on Sunday, November 19, in Los Angeles, the 30-year-old actress revealed a stunning honey blonde hairstyle. Her sun-kissed locks showcased dark roots blending into a caramel shade with hints of chocolate undertones. This dramatic makeover is a departure from Palmer's usual signature of jet black hair.

Palmer's new hairstyle was enhanced by a stunning glamorous look. Her eyes were beautifully accentuated with a smoky cat eye, while her cheeks had a bronzed glow. Her night out follows the conclusion of her tumultuous relationship with her ex, Darius Jackson. According to court documents reviewed by We, Palmer filed a restraining order against Jackson on November 9, alleging multiple instances of abuse throughout their two-year partnership. Additionally, she sought sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis.

Palmer proceeded to provide extensive information about the alleged acts of violence committed by Jackson. She cited a specific incident on November 5, where she claimed to possess security footage of Jackson entering her home without her knowledge or consent. According to Palmer, during this incident, Jackson threatened her, lunged towards her neck, physically assaulted her, threw her over the couch, and even took her phone.

In other parts of the documents, Palmer stated that her relationship with Jackson came to a definitive end in early October. The main reason cited for this was the ongoing physical and emotional abuse inflicted upon her by Jackson.

One day following Palmer's request, a temporary restraining order motion was granted by a judge in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The court directed Jackson to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Palmer and their newborn child until additional instructions are issued. At present, Jackson has not released any public statement addressing the accusations.
