Keke Palmer responded to her boyfriend Darius Jackson's public criticism of her clothing by sharing a TikTok video. In the video, posted on July 7, Palmer can be seen dancing in a white tank top and gray sweatpants while lip-syncing to an audio clip from her June interview with Them. In the clip, she confidently states, "You can't interfere with my progress, darling. If you want to cause trouble, I'll be ready to confront it head-on."
After sharing her TikTok video, the Nope star also unveiled a new line of merchandise, which appears to have been inspired by her partner's recent remark. Taking to Twitter on Friday, Palmer expressed, "One thing is certain and one thing is true, I am a mother through and through! 'I am a mother' and 'Stevie to the bulls--t' shirts are now available!"
Despite all the attention, she reassured her followers that she is doing well. Conveying a message to all the mothers out there, Palmer inquired, "How has having a baby changed you?" She then shared her own experience, stating, "Having a baby has empowered me on a whole new level. My perspective has completely transformed because when my baby is happy, I am genuinely happy too. Look at that adorable face! I am filled with immense gratitude."

Jackson, who is 29 years old, recently launched a video and merchandise line shortly after publicly criticizing Palmer for her outfit choice at an Usher concert in Las Vegas. The artist, known as Nope, wore a transparent black dress over a black bodysuit. On Wednesday, July 5th, Jackson tweeted a video of Palmer being serenaded by the 44-year-old singer with the caption, "It's the outfit though ... you're a mom."
Jackson stood his ground in the face of criticism, refusing to back down. "In today's society, a responsible man in a family does not want his wife and the mother of his children to expose herself to please others, and yet he is labeled as a hater," he expressed on Twitter. "This is my family and the image I choose to project. I have personal standards and values that I adhere to. I consider my case closed."
Temporarily, he deactivated his social media accounts following the controversy, but he promptly returned to Twitter and Instagram. However, observant fans noticed that all previous posts featuring Palmer appear to have been removed from his profiles. Jackson's most recent photo, posted in June, depicts him alone with their infant son, Leodis Andrellton, who is five months old.
Palmer and Jackson were first linked in the summer of 2021, nearly two years before announcing they were expecting their first baby.
