Keke Palmer is seeking to reschedule her upcoming court hearing with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson. The 30-year-old filed a motion in the Superior Court of California on November 29 to postpone their December 5 hearing in order to attend mediation together.

Based on court documents obtained by Us, Palmer mentioned that both she and Jackson, 29, are seeking to extend the "Court's Order to Participate in Mediation," initially scheduled for Wednesday, as well as Palmer's request for a restraining order.

"The parties are asking for the Mediation and Petitioner's DVRO to be postponed to a date that is mutually agreed upon," the court documents stated.

The pair has not received a new court date, but are abiding by the conditions of Palmer's existing restraining order until the next hearing. Palmer and Jackson began dating in August 2021 and welcomed their son, Leodis, in February. Last month, Palmer filed a restraining order against Jackson, alleging physical abuse and trespassing. She is also seeking full custody of their 8-month-old son, claiming that Jackson is "rough" with him.

In her court filing in October, Palmer expressed concern for Leo's safety after Darius became extremely frustrated with him while changing his diaper. She claimed that Darius became rough with Leo, prompting her to intervene to ensure Leo's safety. She alleged that Darius then hit her in the head before leaving the room, but assured that Leo was unharmed.

Jackson has not publicly responded to Palmer's allegations but did send a message to Leo through X, saying "I love you, son. See you soon," shortly after she filed the TRO. Us contacted the personal trainer for comment at that time.

The following day, Palmer's restraining order request was approved, mandating that Jackson stay 100 yards away from both the Nope star and Leo until further notice. Additionally, Jackson is prohibited from having visitation rights with their son.

During the legal battle, Palmer has found comfort in the support of her friends.

"Keke's friends have all come together to support her," a source informed Us last month. "She has a strong inner circle, and they are all working together to ensure she feels upheld during this period of change."
