Kathryn Dennis stands up for Olivia Flowers amidst the shocking revelation of her involvement with Thomas Ravenel on 'Southern Charm'

Kathryn Dennis' response to the news revealed during part 1 of the Southern Charm reunion was surprising — Olivia Flowers and Thomas Ravenel had previously been involved. "We have never been closer, you did nothing wrong and don’t need to worry about being judged by me," Kathryn, 32, wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on Thursday, January 11, alongside three sweet selfies with Olivia.
The women are seen smiling in the first two pictures, and in the third, Olivia is seen offering Kathryn a kiss on the cheek. Olivia commented on the social media post, saying "Love you my girl, thank you for always looking out. ️️."

In the first part of Bravo’s Southern Charm reunion, Olivia admitted to having previously been involved with 61-year-old Thomas, prompted by Taylor Ann Green. (Thomas and Kathryn have two children together, Kensie, 9, and Saint, 8.)
“I’m just saying Olivia, forgive as you would want to be forgiven,” Taylor, 29, said on Thursday, hinting that Olivia was keeping something hidden.
“Say it already,” Olivia retorted. “You’ve been holding this over me, so let’s hear it. Say it!”
Reunion host Andy Cohen then elaborated on the situation between the two women.
Andy, 55, implied that she had betrayed a friend and confidant. Taylor referred to it as "the whole Thomas situation." Olivia admitted to having hooked up with Thomas "one time" during a past drunken night.
"I had just graduated from college at 20, and I was pretty naive," she admitted. "I had a fling with T-Rav, and I thought I would never tell a soul about it. Who wouldn't?"
Thomas went on X (formerly Twitter) to respond to being mentioned during the reunion.
"I am the only reason Southern Charm gets good ratings, even when I'm not there!" he wrote. "They even cancelled the show for a season when I left, then brought it back with 3 new cast members!" (It's unclear which cast members he's referring to as the show was never actually canceled.) Another Southern Charm star, Madison LeCroy, had suggested a hookup during last season's reunion, which Olivia had denied. On Thursday's episode, Olivia revealed that she had actually confessed to hooking up with Taylor after Madison's accusation.
Thomas and Kathryn were part of the original Southern Charm cast when the Bravo show first aired in March 2014. Viewers witnessed the highs and lows of their turbulent relationship until their breakup in 2016.
In 2018, Thomas was removed from the show due to allegations of sexual assault by several women and an arrest for assault and battery related to a 2015 incident. Meanwhile, Kathryn remained on Southern Charm until 2023 when she departed the series before season 9.
During Thursday’s reunion, Taylor claimed that Olivia had “lied” to her “friend and confidant” Kathryn about the Thomas hookup.

“I didn’t know Kathryn then,” Olivia said. “I met Kathryn after it happened.”
