Kailyn Lowry, a former cast member of Teen Mom 2, recently captured her sons' reactions to the news of her pregnancy with twin boys. However, it seems that the whole family wasn't exactly excited about the news. "Gender reveal part 2! I was so eager to share the news with the kids, but of course, one smoke cannon failed to go off. Looking back, I should have seen it as a sign of the chaos that awaited us," Lowry, 31, shared on Instagram on Wednesday, November 8, along with a video from the gender reveal party.
The video started with a notable arrangement of pink and blue balloons next to a pool, featuring a sign that said "Twins." Lowry then switched on the camera and approached her sons Isaac, 13, Lincoln, 9, Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, to gather their predictions about the gender of the upcoming babies.
"I believe it will be a boy, but I truly wish for it to be a girl," expressed Isaac, until his mom reminded him that there are two babies expected. "Oh... I hope they both turn out to be girls."
Isaac's younger siblings were undecided on their predictions prior to the grand unveiling, where blue smoke was seen erupting into the sky from behind the balloons. Later, Lowry inquired about her sons' responses to the announcement.

“I think mom should stop having kids,” Isaac said with a laugh, covering his face with his hands. “There are gonna be more boys and more and more.”
Lincoln playfully expressed to Lowry his mild disappointment, stating, "I already have too many brothers." Lux confessed feeling "nervous," while Creed eagerly anticipated the arrival of his younger brothers.
During her "Barely Famous" podcast last month, Lowry announced her pregnancy and twin expectations with boyfriend Elijah Scott. She described this pregnancy as her most emotionally charged one. Lowry shared the initial portion of her gender reveal recap through an Instagram video on Monday, November 6, joyfully exclaiming, "They're boys!"

The MTV star, who used to star on the show, now shares a son named Isaac with her ex-partner Jo Rivera, and another son named Lincoln with her ex Javi Marroquin. She also welcomed two more sons named Lux and Creed with her ex Chris Lopez. Earlier this year, Lowry subtly confirmed on her podcast "Baby Mamas No Drama" that she and Scott had their first child together in late 2022.
Lowry provided details about the birth of her son, Rio, in an October episode of the show "Barely Famous." She mentioned feeling upset when Scott didn't cry during the delivery.

"He mentioned that the reason was due to our lack of time together upon his arrival from my cat. He had to go straight to the NICU," Lowry recounted. "I barely had the opportunity to hold him for a mere three seconds before he was taken to the NICU. I was incredibly distressed and overwhelmed. It was a frightening experience. I have always been the one giving birth, never the one waiting anxiously on the outside. He probably had a moment to process the fact that his son was born before the chaos ensued."
