After a thrilling conclusion, Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are still going strong despite facing some challenging moments while watching The Bachelor season 28.

During The Bachelor: After the Final Rose on Monday, March 25, Joey openly admitted, "It's been a mix of great moments and tough times. I must say, it hasn't been easy." He also acknowledged the pressure Kelsey faces watching everything unfold with the rest of the world, while he tries to make sense of their relationship at that point in time. However, they have both grown tremendously since then.

Joey mentioned that he and Kelsey can communicate better now and can understand each other's way of talking. He also mentioned that they are in a very strong place since getting engaged.

Kelsey shared a life update, mentioning that she and Joey will be visiting her hometown of New Orleans before making plans to move to New York in the summer.

Joey, 28, popped the question to Kelsey, 25, in a heartfelt moment on the show. This came after a touching conclusion to his relationship with Daisy Kent, the runner-up.

During his proposal, Joey expressed his love for Kelsey, saying, “I can’t keep it in any longer. I love you. There’s something special about you. Your positive energy always brings a smile to my face. It’s a feeling I’ve never experienced before.” He went on to share, “I’ve realized that our connection has grown strong over time. And I believe it will continue to shine brightly because you are my guiding light. I’ve always wanted a fulfilling life, but meeting you has shown me just how incredibly beautiful life can truly be.”

Joey, the tennis pro, recently shared with us the moment he realized he was in love with Kelsey.

He revealed, "It was during our time in Montreal when she began expressing her feelings. Although we both sensed something was happening, we didn't talk about it. I kept my feelings to myself for a while." Joey explained that they both felt the same way during their time in Montreal. However, he chose not to say the words right away because he wanted them to be meaningful. It was after their second one-on-one date in Jasper that he truly knew he was falling in love with her. The day was perfect, and they were moving forward in their relationship. That was the moment he realized his feelings for Kelsey.

Joey is the most recent Bachelor to get engaged on the finale, while season 27 star Zach Shallcross is still engaged to winner Kaity Biggar. The show's popularity may be increasing after a turbulent history spanning decades. Clayton Echard, who led season 26, briefly dated Susie Evans after the show ended but is currently single. Matt James, star of season 25, is in a relationship with his final rose recipient, Rachael Kirkconnell, but chose not to propose.

Sean Lowe, the Bachelor from season 17, is the only Bachelor to marry his "winner" - Catherine Lowe. However, Jason Mesnick from season 13 and Arie Luyendyk Jr. from season 22 are both happily married to their technical runner-ups, Molly Mesnick and Lauren Luyendyk, respectively.
