In an interview with We, Jesse, who is 28 years old, shared that rewatching his vulnerable moment with his friend and costar West Wilson was not as difficult as he had anticipated.
Jesse shared with Us that he was very frightened when he and West were outside, and he cried for a long time. However, he mentioned that seeing the scary moment condensed into just a few seconds made it seem not as terrible.
During the episode of Summer House that aired on Thursday, May 9, Jesse, who is a survivor of testicular cancer, opened up about feeling something concerning on his testicle, sparking fears of the cancer coming back.
Jesse admitted during his confessional that he usually doesn't show vulnerability. He mentioned that he's struggling not to be affected by it, but it's consuming his thoughts.

Jesse hinted that viewers will get to see the outcome on the show. He mentioned that he discovered something, and the doctor found another issue. Initially, he was worried about the situation.
Jesse made his debut on Summer House this season, which premiered in March. He shared with the cast that he is a two-time cancer survivor. In addition to raising awareness on the show, Jesse also collaborated with the Movember charity last month to promote their Know Thy Nuts campaign, aiming to increase awareness and knowledge about testicular cancer.
Speaking about the fan reactions, Jesse mentioned, "The messages have been incredibly rewarding for me. One of the main reasons I joined the show was to spread awareness and convey the message that there is hope for those going through similar challenges, like being a young cancer patient. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and you can look forward to partying with your friends in the Hamptons someday."
