After her estranged husband Jeezy filed for divorce, Jeannie Mai has countered his petition by requesting the court to enforce their prenuptial agreement clause, citing his alleged infidelity. The 46-year-old Jeezy has not responded to Mai's filing, and his spokesperson has denied the accusations of cheating.
Mr. Jenkins' representative stated on Saturday, December 2, that any allegations of infidelity are completely untrue, and no further comments will be made at this time. Mai, 44, and Jeezy, also known as Jay Wayne Jenkins, signed a prenuptial agreement in March 2021. Although the exact details of the agreement are undisclosed, Mai's filing on Thursday, November 30, indicates that there is a penalty for infidelity during the marriage. She is seeking to enforce this penalty in the divorce decree, as well as requesting an equitable distribution of marital assets.
Mai claimed in court documents obtained by We that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity. She stated that the clause specifies a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party for engaging in sexual relations, emotional relationships, or suggestive communication with a third party. The rapper filed for divorce in September, citing an irretrievably broken marriage and stating that he and Mai were already living in a bona fide state of separation prior to his petition.

“This journey has been far from easy. I’m saddened,” Jeezy shared with Nia Long during a recent YouTube interview. He mentioned that the separation came after unsuccessful attempts at couples therapy. “I’m disappointed. I’m uneasy. But God has redirected me onto a new path, one that will require me to prioritize self-care, self-love, and putting myself in the best possible position to thrive after everything I've been through.”

Jeezy filed for divorce and requested joint physical and legal custody of his 20-month-old daughter, Monaco, with Mai. Mai is seeking sole authority over Monaco's care and primary physical custody, while also agreeing to joint legal custody with Jeezy.
Also on Thursday, Jeezy filed a request for a temporary court hearing to settle their custody dispute. He accused Mai of acting as a “gatekeeper” between him and Monaco.
