Sister Wives star Janelle Brown recently shared an update on her son Garrison’s cherished pets after his passing.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, April 22, Janelle mentioned that Garrison’s cats, Catthew and Patches, are doing well at his brother Logan and sister-in-law Michelle’s home. She also mentioned that Ms. Boots is happy and thriving with Aspyn and Mitch. Janelle expressed gratitude for being able to care for the pets just as Garrison would have wanted.

Janelle recently posted some adorable photos of her cats. The pictures showed the kitties chilling on a staircase, lounging on a cat tree, and playing together under a table.

Garrison was known for his love of cats. Just a month before he passed away, he welcomed his fourth feline friend into his home and shared the new addition with his followers on Instagram.

He shared a selfie with his newest addition to the family, Ms Buttons, in February. The 9-year-old cat was facing euthanasia, but he couldn't bear to let that happen. #crazycatlady. (Janelle did not provide any updates on Ms. Buttons.)

On March 5, we received confirmation that Garrison, the son of Janelle and ex-husband Kody Brown, had passed away at the age of 25 from an apparent suicide. The Flagstaff Police later informed us that Garrison was found dead at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. (There is no suspicion of foul play, but an investigation is currently ongoing.)

Shortly after the news of his passing spread, Janelle and Kody, who is 54 years old, both shared the heartbreaking news on social media. Kody expressed, "Janelle and I are deeply saddened to share that we have lost our beloved son, Robert Garrison Brown." He added, "He brought joy to everyone he knew. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, leaving us breathless. We kindly ask for privacy as we remember him."

Garrison made his debut on Sister Wives in 2010 with his parents and six siblings: Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabriel, and Savanah. In the 17th season of the show filmed in 2021, Garrison and Gabriel decided to move out and live on their own due to disagreements with Kody regarding COVID-19 rules. Their relationship with their father worsened when he insisted they apologize to him in order to continue their bond.

Gabriel shared during season 18 of Sister Wives, filmed in 2022, that he and Garrison disagreed with his dad about COVID-related issues. They felt frustrated when their concerns were not addressed, causing tension in their relationship.

In December 2022, Janelle decided to end her spiritual marriage with Kody after being married for over two decades. Kody's marriages to Christine Brown and Meri Brown had also ended in 2021 and 2022, respectively. He is still married to his wife Robyn Brown.

Despite Garrison's estrangement from Kody, he remained close to his mother. Earlier this month, Janelle shared a tribute to her son on what would have been his 26th birthday. She posted a sweet throwback video of Garrison smiling in front of a birthday cake and holding up gifts.

In the post, Janelle wrote, "Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We are missing you terribly today. It's hard to believe you aren't here anymore. We talked a lot about you today and even went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (your favorite place). I still feel you nearby sometimes. And I'm grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed."
