Jamie Lee Curtis Promises Epic One Piece Role Once Strike Resolves
Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis expresses interest in portraying the role of Dr Kureha in One Piece, but will only pursue it once the strike has concluded
Due to the ongoing SAF-AFTRA strike, actors are unable to openly advocate for desired roles. However, some individuals, including Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis, are making their preferences known. Curtis, who has gained recognition within anime and manga communities due to her passion for One Piece, has caught the attention of fans who have envisioned her in the role of Dr. Kureha in Netflix's successful live-action adaptation. Although Curtis has shared her interest on Instagram, she has clarified that she is not actively lobbying for the role until after the strike concludes.
