Bachelor in Paradise’s Jade Roper is feeling all the love on her birthday, especially from her late son.
"Baby Beau sent me a beautiful sunset," wrote Roper, 37, on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 19. She filmed the orange sunset while sitting in the car.
Roper's husband, Tanner Tolbert, had earlier posted a lovely picture of her enjoying a drink during their "bday date night."
Tolbert, 36, took to Instagram Story on Tuesday to call his wife the "birthday queen" and gush about how great she looks at 37. He expressed his love for her with the username tag @jadelizroper.
The couple, who got married in 2016 after meeting on BiP season 2, welcomed their daughter Emerson in 2017, son Brooks in 2019, and son Reed in 2020. Unfortunately, Roper revealed in August that she had a "missed miscarriage" while pregnant with their fourth child, a son they intended to name Beau.
“At this time, I’ve been struggling with what to write here as I’ve been navigating a miscarriage,” she expressed in a post on Instagram. “It felt like all my dreams were coming true to welcome another baby into our lives, to love and to complete our family. While our hearts are completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul for his short amount of time. I am forever changed.”

Roper revealed that although Beau’s “heart has ceased beating and he has not been growing for some time, my body has not yet expelled the pregnancy.” She expressed her desire to go through the remaining stages of the miscarriage without medical intervention.
However, she was later admitted to the hospital for a potential infection, and ultimately had to undergo surgery despite her initial hope to avoid it.
Roper shared on Instagram in August as she prepared for surgery, expressing her unexpected journey and desire to heal from the loss of her unborn child. One month later, she revealed that she had no symptoms before the miscarriage and described changes in her pregnancy symptoms that led her to believe she had lost the baby.

In November, Roper revealed in a different Instagram Story Q&A that her son who passed away had been diagnosed with Down syndrome and she believed that his heart may not have been strong enough. She added, "Many individuals with Down syndrome are also born with congenital heart issues."
