Wells Adams is sharing behind-the-scenes details about Bachelor in Paradise.

Contestants on the show are only allowed to have two alcoholic drinks per hour. According to the 39-year-old bartender, they usually wait until the end of the hour to consume their two drinks. "They'll get a shot and another drink," Adams revealed during a Thursday, March 21 episode of "When Reality Hits With Jax and Taylor" podcast. And as soon as the hour changes, the contestants will quickly ask for another beverage.

Adams joked that he feels the pressure of deciding when to serve drinks, keeping track in a notebook. He mentioned that contestants are not allowed to order two drinks at once or for someone else.

In response to allegations of misconduct in 2017, Paradise implemented a drink limit. After investigating the incident involving Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson, the show resumed filming without Olympios and Jackson.

Adams mentioned that he understands the reasoning behind the show's decision to set a drink limit. However, he still finds it a bit silly.

During a conversation with hosts Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, Adams expressed his opinion on the matter. He believes that it is unfair to restrict people from fully seeing who someone is before encouraging them to commit. According to Adams, a significant part of getting to know someone is observing how they behave when they are intoxicated.

During the podcast, Adams shared his admiration for Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, referring to them as his favorite couple from Paradise. He fondly recalled officiating their wedding in September 2023 and complimented Serena for her beauty.

Adams also praised Amabile for being the only person on the beach willing to enjoy a beer with him. He humorously commented on the other contestants being afraid of carbs, highlighting Amabile's laid-back attitude.

Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin became his second favorite couple after getting engaged on the beach during season six in 2019 and eventually getting married in August 2023.

While he didn't want to reveal which BiP contestant was the most "demanding," Adams did mention that every season there is always someone he "hates."

The bartender shared that he often encounters rude behavior from customers during each season. Despite keeping quiet about it, he mentioned that he holds a unique perspective as he witnesses everything that happens. Additionally, he pointed out that if someone is rude to him and later seeks advice, they will not receive it from him.

Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise has not been officially confirmed by ABC at this time.
