Austen Kroll surprised us on Southern Charm when he disclosed that his ex-girlfriend Olivia Flowers accidentally left her bra at his house. Now, Olivia is prepared to give her perspective on the situation.
"All I can say is, I made a big mistake. I was just trying to relax and feel comfortable, but unfortunately, it was not the right place for that. The next day, everyone in Charleston found out about it," Olivia, who is 31 years old, revealed exclusively to us at BravoCon on Friday, November 3. "So, I have learned my lesson and will definitely be more careful in the future."
On the Thursday, November 2, episode of the Bravo series, Austen, aged 36, revealed to costar Craig Conover that Olivia had accidentally left her bra on his couch following a movie night. Austen firmly stated that Olivia had taken off the undergarment herself and unintentionally forgotten it, clarifying that they did not engage in any romantic encounters.
Similarly, Olivia refuted any claims of intimacy with Austen, with whom she ended her relationship in October 2022.
On Friday, she stated that the news about the bra had spread to everyone the following day. She believed that if they were to engage in a romantic relationship, it would definitely become public knowledge. "If there was already so much talk about a bra," she questioned. Austen and Olivia's fellow cast member, Venita Aspen, also shared her thoughts on the convention drama. According to Venita, Charleston is a city that is too small to keep secrets, especially when it involves something thrilling. She humorously hinted at the implications.
Additional members of the Southern Charm cast responded to the events surrounding "Bra Gate" over the course of the weekend, offering their thoughts on the true nature of Austen and Olivia's encounter.
"I frequently remove my bra without hesitation. Whether I'm at my girlfriend's place enjoying a movie or in any other situation, I simply take off my bra," Leva Bonaparte playfully shared with Us in Sin City. "It's just a natural thing for me, you know? I don't even think about it. Having larger breasts, it's convenient to whip off the bra!"
On the other hand, Taylor Ann Green humorously stated that she doesn't wear bras to begin with, so she can't relate to the act of taking one off.
Despite the incident known as "Bra Gate," Olivia and Austen have maintained a friendly relationship since their breakup. In fact, when Olivia's brother, Conner, passed away due to a fentanyl overdose in January, Austen provided comfort to her. Reflecting on their current dynamic, Olivia expressed that their relationship is always unpredictable. She acknowledged that watching the episodes of their show has been enlightening, but also frustrating for her as she sees conversations happening in her absence. This has inevitably impacted their friendship, although her feelings towards Austen vary from day to day. On one hand, he manages to get on her nerves, but on the other hand, she enjoys his company, creating a confusing and complex situation.
