An incident near Drake's residence in Toronto on a Tuesday morning resulted in one individual sustaining serious injuries. It remains uncertain if the rapper was present at home during the occurrence.

An early morning shooting near Drake’s home in Toronto, Canada, left one person seriously injured.

The authorities mentioned that a man was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital. The suspect managed to escape the scene in a vehicle.

The man was transported by ambulance to Sunnybrook Hospital at the University of Toronto, where he underwent surgery. Fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

It is uncertain if Drake, who is 37 years old, was at home during the shooting. However, according to the Sun, he has been in Toronto recently.

Aerial footage from Toronto’s CP24 revealed crime scene tape surrounding Drake’s residence and the front courtyard driveway.

CityNews Toronto reporter Tammie Sutherland was on the scene Tuesday morning and noticed a "police presence" outside Drake's home. She posted several photos, one showing a Toronto Police SUV blocking the street.

The shooting incident occurred while Drake is embroiled in a well-known rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, but it has not been confirmed if the two are related.

Lamar, who is 36 years old, dropped his diss track titled “Not Like Us” on Saturday, May 4. The cover art of the track was a picture of Drake’s house on Google Maps, with symbols indicating sex offenders placed on top of it.

In his song, Lamar hinted that Drake has been involved in inappropriate relationships with minors.

Fans have been busy adding their own labels to Google Maps since the release of “Not Like Us.” When you look up Drake’s home, you might see it labeled as the “evil ass rape building.” Other spots on Drake’s property have been marked as “Kendrickwon” and “kendrick’scourt.”

Drake responded to Lamar’s accusations in his latest track, “The Heart Part 6,” which he dropped on Sunday, May 5. In the song, he denies the allegations of being a pedophile.

Drake rapped on the track about not being involved with young girls, saying he would have been arrested if he was. He also mentioned his fame and dismissed any accusations made against him.

The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
