Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Unveil Kafka and Blade's Epic Light Cones

A fresh batch of leaks regarding Honkai: Star Rail has surfaced, divulging information about the signature Light Cones for the upcoming five-star characters Kafka and Blade. The Version 1.1 Special Program by HoYoverse for the sci-fi RPG is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, and information about the forthcoming Version 1.2 update has already begun to emerge. Earlier this week, HoYoverse revealed Blade and Kafka as the two five-star characters set to join the game in the update expected to release in July. Leaks are now detailing the new characters' Light Cones.

Light Cones are crucial in Honkai: Star Rail as they not only provide stat boosts to characters but also come with unique effects to benefit certain playstyles. Typically, each new five-star character added to the game has their own special five-star Light Cone, which is featured on a Light Cone banner alongside their release. A character's signature Light Cone usually provides buffs that are uniquely suited to their playstyle, like Seele's buffing her Basic ATK and Skill damage the higher Speed she has. Now, Kafka and Blade are set to release with their own powerful new Light Cones.

Honkai: Star Rail leaker Affinity has leaked information revealing the signature Light Cones for both Kafka and Blade. Kafka's "Patience Is All You Need" Light Cone increases the wearer's Break Effect percentage and also boosts the user's Speed with stacked effects. Furthermore, the Light Cone guarantees increased damage-over-time to enemies attacked with Kafka's Light Cone.

Blade's "The Unreachable Star" Light Cone provides players with a percentage-based increase to their maximum HP and Crit Rate. The Light Cone also grants bonus effects that activate when players either take damage or use their own HP for an attack, increasing the damage dealt in the next attack. Both Light Cones are exclusive to their respective Paths, with Kafka's only available to Nihility characters and Blade's exclusive to Destruction characters. These five-star Light Cones are expected to release alongside their characters in Version 1.2.

Honkai: Star Rail is set to experience a significant boost in growth in the coming updates following its April launch, with the introduction of new Light Cones and characters. According to rumors, Version 1.1 will feature three new RPG characters, including five-star characters Silver Wolf and Luocha, as well as four-star character Yukong. Further leaks have hinted at the arrival of several characters in Version 1.2, such as Fu Xuan, Misha, and a new variation of the starter character, Dan Heng. Fans can expect plenty of exciting content in the upcoming patches, as Star Rail continues to maintain its impressive early momentum. The game is currently available on PC and mobile devices, with versions for the PS4 and PS5 in development.
