On Thanksgiving Day, Gwyneth Paltrow emphasized the importance of dressing up, even if the festive celebration was happening at home. The 51-year-old actress took to social media on November 23 to post photos from the holiday, showcasing a stylish look with her daughter, Apple Martin. Both of them wore elegant half-up hairstyles adorned with matching black velvet bows.
Paltrow and her daughter Apple, 19, flaunted their festive accessory in a photo posted on Paltrow’s Instagram Story from the back. They coordinated in black dresses with Apple wearing a glamorous velvet frock with princess sleeves and Paltrow rocking a timeless, form-fitting number finished with spaghetti straps. The actress completed her look with a pearl necklace.

In addition to showing off her festive fashions, Paltrow gave fans a glimpse at her Thanksgiving Day spread — made by someone else.
Paltrow didn't cook this, but it looks like she did," Paltrow shared alongside a photo of her smiling next to a spread of food that included stuffing, sweet potato casserole, a charcuterie board, and various other delicious dishes. She also posted a video panning the camera to give viewers a closer look at the table, adding the message "Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sending so much love to you and yours."
During the holiday, Paltrow and her family enjoyed watching her son Moses showcase his piano skills. The 17-year-old looked sharp in a black suit for the occasion.
Paltrow is the mother of Apple and Moses, whom she shares with her ex-husband Chris Martin. The couple, who got married in 2002, divorced in 2015.

The exes have remained extremely friendly over the years with Paltrow praising the musician on his birthday in March.
Paltrow took to Instagram to send her heartfelt birthday wishes to her dearest father and friend, Chris Martin, with a lovely selfie of the two. The caption read, “Happy birthday to the sweetest father and friend️we love you, cajm,” referring to the musician’s full name: Christopher Anthony John Martin.
