Gwyneth Paltrow shared her thoughts on ex-fiancé Brad Pitt’s Le Domaine skincare line.
Paltrow, 51, expressed her satisfaction with the product collection during an interview with The New York Times on Sunday, October 1. She described it as "good" and "really beautiful." Notably, Pitt, 59, personally sent her some items from the collection.
Paltrow and Pitt were in a relationship more than two decades ago, with Pitt proposing to Paltrow in December 1996. However, they never got married and called off their wedding six months after the proposal. Paltrow later married Chris Martin, but they divorced in 2015, which they famously referred to as a "conscious uncoupling." She has since remarried Brad Falchuck, co-creator of American Horror Story.
Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005. Following their split, he embarked on a nine-year relationship with Angelina Jolie, whom he eventually married in 2014. However, their marriage came to an end in 2016.
In a surprising move, Pitt entered the beauty industry last year with the launch of Le Domaine. Unlike typical celebrity brands, Pitt emphasized that this venture is not solely focused on his fame. He partnered with the Perrin family, the owners of Château de Beaucastel winery, Pierre-Louis Teissedre, a Professor of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux, and Dr. Nicolas Lévy. Through their combined expertise, they have developed products that combine both scientific and natural elements, drawing inspiration from the study of wine.
"It is a genderless range of anti-aging cosmetics designed for both men and women. We wanted to create a line that does not rely on a specific face to represent it," Pitt stated.
Teissedre, who believes that both wine and skincare can be considered precise sciences, spent years studying various grapes to determine which combinations possess the strongest antioxidant properties. As a result of his research, he developed GSM10, an active ingredient that effectively combats oxidation, a chemical process that occurs when a substance interacts with oxygen. (Extended oxidation contributes to the reduction of collagen, the formation of wrinkles, sagging skin, and other aging signs. Likewise, excessive oxidation is deemed detrimental to wine.)
Paltrow has been a dominant figure in the lifestyle industry for many years. In September 2008, she introduced Goop, an online platform dedicated to wellness. The website provides readers with advice from medical professionals and showcases a variety of beauty products and travel suggestions. Additionally, Goop's online shop offers a wide range of products, including clothing, sexual wellness items, and candles.

Paltrow made headlines in 2020 with the release of her unique candles titled "This Smells Like My Vagina" and "This Smells Like My Orgasm."
In an exclusive interview with We, she explained her motivation behind the product, saying, "Growing up, we received messages about feminine care that were saturated with artificial fragrances. I wanted to make a feminist statement by embracing our true selves and our femininity. Once people move past the initial surprise, they can appreciate the deeper message and concept behind it, which is actually quite impressive."
It all began as a joke, but when Paltrow made an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers in January, she revealed that the idea originated from a clever remark.
"It started off as a joke. I was with the perfumer Douglas Little for his brand Heretic and we were playfully experimenting. I came across a scent that was incredibly pleasant and remarked, 'That smells like my vagina,'" she shared with the late-night host during the interview. "Of course, I was just kidding."
