Gwyneth Paltrow Stuns in Racy Lingerie as she Commends Stylist Elizabeth Saltzman

Gwyneth Paltrow bared it all to send birthday wishes to her longtime stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman. The 50-year-old actress, known for her role in Shakespeare in Love, took to social media on Friday, June 16, to commemorate Saltzman's special day. In her Instagram Stories, Paltrow shared a series of photos showcasing different outfits she has worn throughout the years, expressing her gratitude for Saltzman's guidance and calling her a "legend" and a "crazy pants genius."

The Goop founder flaunted her perfectly sculpted body in a stunning selfie, donning sleek black shapewear consisting of a seductive black bra and high-waisted shaping briefs. To accentuate her look, she effortlessly styled her iconic blonde locks in tousled waves and added a touch of glamour with a smoky eye.

In another set of pictures, the Shallow Hal star reminisced about one of her most memorable fashion moments - her appearance at the 2012 Oscars wearing a breathtaking white Tom Ford gown, expertly styled by Saltzman. Additionally, she shared a couple of selfies featuring the dynamic duo from previous years.

Saltzman is responsible for creating some of the most memorable looks worn by Oscar winners throughout her career. She has worked with notable celebrities such as Saoirse Ronan and Sandra Oh. In a recent interview with Grazia in November 2022, Saltzman emphasized the importance of undergarments in completing an ensemble. She expressed her preference for Commando's bodysuits and thongs as her favorite shaper brands at the time. Additionally, Saltzman mentioned the use of Wolford for tights and the occasional need for Spanx.

Saltzman may not be able to take credit for one of Paltrow's iconic looks - the controversial Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the 2002 Oscars. Despite facing criticism in the past for her choice to wear a sheer bodice to the awards ceremony, the Glee alum has always proudly stood by her daring outfit.

“I actually really liked this [dress], even though it received a lot of hate. I find it pretty cool.,” Paltrow mentioned in an interview with Vogue in April 2021 for their “Life in Looks” series. “I felt a bit uneasy about it for some time because it faced a lot of criticism. At that time, it was considered too goth and too edgy, which surprised people. But I personally really like it.”

However, this doesn't mean that the Sliding Doors actress wouldn't make a few changes if given the chance. “There were a few issues; I still adore the dress itself, but I should have worn a bra and opted for simple beachy hair with less makeup,” Paltrow admitted in a Q&A on her Goop blog in March 2012. “Then, it would have achieved the punk vibe I was aiming for at the Oscars.”

Paltrow's daughter, Apple, has developed her own fashion sense and recently made her debut at the Chanel spring/summer 2023 runway show in Paris Fashion Week. She looked stunning in a black-and-white tweed set from the fashion house, sitting in the front row and capturing attention.
