Garth Brooks Emotionally Expresses Desire to Have Trisha Yearwood by His Side Until His Final Moment

Garth Brooks openly expresses his love and adoration for his wife, Trisha Yearwood, and wants to share it with the world. On an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show aired on Monday, November 20, the 61-year-old singer excitedly talked about his deep affection for Yearwood even after 17 years of being happily married.
"When it comes to the future, I believe that being thankful for each additional day is crucial. The opportunity to continue doing what I love fills me with profound emotions," he expressed, visibly moved. "That's all there is to it. On the day I take my final breath on Earth, my greatest wish is to have my three daughters by my side, as well as the presence of the queen."
Brooks has three daughters, Taylor (31), August (29), and Allie (27), with his former wife Sandy Mahl. He further emphasized his strong connection with Yearwood, stating, "I've mentioned this previously, but I am certain that I have found her in a previous life and will find her again in the next."
The couple first crossed paths in the 1980s, but their romantic relationship didn't begin until the year 2000. (Brooks had separated from Mahl in 1999 and their divorce was officially settled two years later.)
During a recent interview with We, Brooks alluded to his reliance on Yearwood. "I shared with someone recently that I feel incredibly vulnerable because there isn't anything I can't accomplish with her by my side," he candidly expressed to Us in August. "Her presence gives me the confidence to tackle any challenge, while her absence leaves me feeling incapable."

He playfully remarked, "There's a dichotomy in feeling both liberated and reliant, a blessing and a curse, when she is present compared to when she is absent. Although I doubt she experiences it as such, this sentiment strongly resonates with me." Despite being married for almost twenty years, Brooks affirmed that his fondness for spending time with Yearwood remains unchanged.
"It's all about our togetherness," he mentioned regarding their date nights. "Simply being in each other's presence, sharing the same room and breathing the same air with a woman. We don't necessarily need to engage in any specific activities together, but the mere knowledge of her presence is incredibly comforting."
In the meantime, Yearwood expressed admiration for the dedication she and Brooks possess in maintaining a successful marriage.

"I used to be the type of person who would easily give up whenever things got tough within a relationship. It was something I excelled at," she disclosed to Us in April 2021. "However, in this particular situation, walking away is simply not an option because this person is the love of my life, you know? Therefore, we sit down together, have an open conversation, and work through our difficulties. This approach inevitably leads to personal growth and stronger bonds once we overcome them."
