John Stamos and his former Full House colleagues are honoring the memory of Bob Saget two years after his passing.
“Unbelievable. As time goes by, the intense pain I experienced initially … it has become ingrained within me,” Stamos, 60, wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 9. “It doesn’t feel as consuming as it did in the beginning. Perhaps I've simply become accustomed to it, and I'm not certain how I feel about that.”
Stamos posted a video from a Zoom call featuring past colleagues Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Dave Coulier. The actors reminisced about their favorite moments with the late Saget.
“As time goes on, it just feels stranger,” confessed Barber, 47. Coulier, 64, chimed in, “Bob used to always call me to sing a song in falsetto, usually a Christmas song. … And he would just keep going for five minutes.”

Stamos expressed in his caption that he hoped he wouldn't become accustomed to life without Saget. "Not thinking about it constantly means I'm adjusting to his absence," he revealed. "But I know Bob would want me to move forward with my life. Still, allowing it to fade away feels unsettling."
Stamos also posted a video of Saget at Cameron Bure’s wedding to husband Valeri Bure in 1996. The emotional clip showed the late actor wiping tears from his eyes as the couple exchanged vows.
“Bob gave us this moment right here,” Coulier said, as the former Full House stars were moved to tears.
Stamos concluded in his caption, "I miss him a lot every day. But I'm also thankful for the time we shared, for the laughter, for the friendship. He was truly unique, and I was fortunate to have him as a friend."
Saget passed away in January 2022 at the age of 65 in his Orlando, Florida hotel room. The medical examiner later confirmed in February of the same year that his death was due to "blunt head trauma" from an accidental fall.

Saget portrayed the character of Danny Tanner on Full House from 1987 to 1995 and reprised the role for the Netflix reboot Fuller House, which aired from 2016 to 2020. Following his passing, Saget's former castmates released a statement in January 2022, paying tribute to their close bond with him. "Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family," they said. "He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls, and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly."
