Southern Charm alum Thomas Ravenel didn’t hold back when sharing his feelings about ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis.

Kathryn Dennis is the worst person I know, and there are some total losers like Craig Conover, Shep Rose, and Austen Kroll who make excuses and applaud her horrific behavior. Ravenel, 61, expressed this via X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, November 7. He has since deleted the post.

When asked by an X user why he decided to have children with Dennis, 32, Ravenel responded, "That's a damn good question! You got me there!" (The exes, who dated on and off for two years, split in 2016 and have a son named Saint, 7, and a daughter named Kenise, 9.)

Ravenel made comments about his former partner following Conover's praise of Dennis at BravoCon. Conover expressed the love and desire of the Southern Charm cast for Dennis to make a comeback during the panel held in Las Vegas on November 5. Dennis departed from Southern Charm after being on the show for eight seasons. Ravenel, on the other hand, was part of the reality series from seasons 1 to 6 before leaving amidst allegations of sexual assault in 2018. In September 2019, he pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and battery, subsequently paying a $500 fine.

Ravenel and Dennis have been engaged in a heated custody dispute since their separation, exchanging allegations of substance abuse problems. In October 2020, Ravenel initiated a legal process to obtain exclusive custody of their children, while proposing supervised visitation for Dennis.

In September, Dennis provided a seldom update on the challenges she faces in maintaining a cooperative coparenting relationship.

"When I am in your presence, I feel rejuvenated and full of life. Even when we are physically apart and cannot communicate, you are always on my mind. Our love binds us together like an invisible thread, forever connecting us. I firmly believe that we will overcome these challenging times, as they are only temporary. 💕" she wrote as a caption to a series of Instagram photos depicting her and her children enjoying a fun bowling outing.

Dennis added, "To all the coparents out there, I send you strength. Regardless of the circumstances, the pain of not being with your children is a constant burden that one must bear. It feels incredibly unnatural and prolongs the heartbreak. We need each other's love and support. Here's to a hopeful future. 💕"
